Allies more suited for BnR because they have better speed retention especially at lower altitudes and against zeroes particularly to increase distance from them, whereas BnZ are more suited for energy fighters which are mostly axis planes and spitfires (because of their impressive climb rate and high P/W), and the 109s are great in holding it's own in the vertical. ZnB on the other hand is great tactic as well to intercept enemy fighters at medium altitudes, because you can catch them by coming from below and behind them with great speed that they will likely have a hard time to first detect you on the radar, and second evade by diving away (pulling up, left or right will just mean for their death, because they are alrdy slow enough). Lag pursuit is the reason behind the effectiveness of ZnB and I highly recommend this tactic for any interceptor plane as long as the enemy plane is below 5km and also above 1km of altitude. The main idea is by dropping altitude for speed energy and then using angle of elevation to intercept an enemy aircraft from their behind at that built-up speeds, you're more likely to secure the kill than baiting them. Again BnR is great if the plane has good speed retention, and reduces the window of opportunity for a reversal, but german lines have great trouble maintaining speeds to catch planes at low altitudes (so they need altitude instead of speed), whereas the reverse is true for allies.

nah this thing can fight turn fighters really well , on account of it having good energy retentions , fast flap deployment and considerably powerful engine this thing can engage at 6000m , head-on then merge , if its a turn fighter or a p51H looking for trouble then start to do spiral climbing , as soon and you do it , you can see the turn fighters struggling to take a aim on you , when you see them low on speed , using landing flap to aim you nose to his general direction , toggle combat flaps and blast him off , if you missed then just rinse and repeat the entire spiral climbing process and then use flap again

Could you do a video explaining what flaps to use when and why and also a more in depth video on merging, I've watched the one you posted but I feel you don't explain well enough what you are doing ie: are you nosing down or putting lots of left rudder just something to help us out more. @@gugaljp I've played the Antons, Doras and Ta152s quite a bit, by far my most played planes are Focke-Wulfs. I hate that I have to spend a bunch of game time climbing or starting off with a disadvantage. At this BR, when you reach 6k and picked a target, half of the game is over. Seriously, the 152s are possibly the best props of the war and within 5mins, 109s Ks shoot above you like nothing, even with air spawn. Now you can say tralala in real life bla bla, but that's the next thing, it is a russian invention that the FW is such an awful turner. There is a video of an heavy a8 turn-fighting and winning against a spit and bursting him into british aviation heaven. The Doras are cool but they usually play same games as the Ta152 with comparable performance but 2 20mm less. Besides the horrible repair cost, is there any reason to play doras?

does it work whit the d13 /c3/ p51h/f82
@mckseal6 жыл бұрын
The key is not what plane you're flying, but how it compares to your opponent. FW190's are generally good at BN"R" (Normally called BN"Z" - boom and zoom) as they retain energy more than most opponents so the D13 is a good bet. As is the P51h, not sure what you mean by c3, the f82 I think so. As I said, depends who you're facing. You're generally looking for climb rate (especially zoom & shallow climbs), energy retention, high Vne aircraft. This video is a good description of the basics. This tactic has a high probability of success given the right starting conditions, but there are times when it is not the right tactic to apply; even if your plane is the ultimate BNZ fighter. Even in the perfect situation, a highly skilled enemy may lure you into a reversal and shoot you down. Dogfights are not some checklist you can easily master.
