TA-4 Skyhawk Take off out of North Island

1969-got a ride in the back seat to my buddy’s wedding in Jacksonville on Friday and back to Virginia Beach “Oceana” on Sunday. The oxygen was sweet on the return flight. I was a plane captain.

There I was a navy officer at San Diego Naval air station North island. Great duty & fun at the beach.

MCAS El Toro 1974..Black Sheep Squadron had A-4's. A-6's and F-4's on the base too. I sure miss those days. Semper Fi!!
