I know people are complaining about mid game interviews. But I think Casey is built to do them. Just give him some media training because he seems confused how to coordinate with with production while doing his wierdness but fun interviews.

nice match but there should be like a “challenge” or “review” option , because that was an insane call by the ref.
@thewakakeboarderАй бұрын
Agreed... if its clearly visable on the big screen refs should be allowed to make the correct call.

these ref dont give a shit.

Large crowd, good to see that. I was at the UCLA event and good but more fans would had been nice.

Wow the nitro shut that crowd up at the end

Damn bro there were people booing the Taylor’s serves in the third set. That’s messed up

But it might be that spice that avp league needs. And a little crowd interaction is always fun 😅

How can it be that everyone in the arena except the refs could review Sander's net fault? Isn't there a challenge system for the AVP League? The video technology is obviously in place.
@mariexiong9892Ай бұрын
For whatever reason, there are no challenges allowed for the league. And for whatever reasons again, refs are not allowed to look at replays on the big screen. Pretty dumb if you ask me
@SadDetonatorАй бұрын
@@mariexiong9892 Fully agree, and I'm confident this oversight in year 1 will be fixed in year 2.
@mariexiong9892Ай бұрын
@@SadDetonator hopefully. However, about the refs not looking at the screen, I believe that’s a systemic standard bc even in the international league FIVB refs aren’t allowed to look at the screen. Granted, there’s a challenge system but for plays that aren’t challenge-able like double touch and lifts, refs can’t look at the big screen that the audiences have access to.
@SadDetonatorАй бұрын
@@mariexiong9892 Agreed. I can only shake my head at such technicalities, though I do not blame the refs. They need a framework of rules and devices they can rely on officially, and the big video screen, as helpful as it might be, isn't one of them just yet.
@beausshowАй бұрын
@@mariexiong9892only issue with this regarding the AVP is for tournaments, our courts probably aren’t supplemented with as many cameras. I agree for the league they definitely should implement challenge/reviews!

Kevin, the heck you mean that was good? Completely missed what Taylor is complaining about!!! That was a lift by Evan’s. That’s what he was complaining about… lift, double contact because hands weren’t together…. You (Kevin) shouldn’t be commentating anymore
