Naam..memang negeri2 yg pernah disinggahi oleh orang2 arab (khususnya arab yamani dan omani) pasti sedikit banyak memiliki persamanan budaya seni. Dikarenakan masyarakat zanzibar (afrika timur) memang sudahpun hidup membaur berkurun waktu lamanya dengan penduduk arab (yamani wa omani) sehingga terjalin ikatan hubungan agama & adat budaya dalam hidup bermasyarakatnya diantara keduanya, baik di tanah arab mahupun di tanah zanzibar (afrika timur). Pun begitu dengan irama ZAFIN, QANBUS&GHAZAL MELAYU yg terdapat di Malaya,Riau&Kalimantan yg sudah diubah suai sedemikian rupa mengikut adat budaya&bahasa setempat, pada dasarnya adalah berasal dari negeri HADHRAMAWT (yaman). Namun irama ZAFFIN, QANBUS, GHAZAL&SAMRAH di nusantara yg masih terjaga keasliannya (musik&bahasanya) sebagaimana yg terdapat di negeri asalnya HADHRAMAWT yaman, yakni kita bisa menjumpainya di indonesia (dari aceh sampai ke papua). Karena di indonesia terdapat begitu banyak warga negaranya yg berketurunan arab (khususnya arab hadhromi&masri) bahkan jumlah populasi warga keturunan arab di indonesia jauh lebih banyak jumlahnya dibanding penduduk yaman itu sendiri. Kalau di malaya kita bisa menjumpai irama zaffin, ghazal/samrah yg asli dari segi irama&bahasanya. kita bisa menjumpainya di Bakri, Muar, Johor dan juga di daerah Tawau Sabah, karena di kedua tempat tersebut ramai warga negara indonesia berketurunan arab yang hijrah di ke dua daerah tersebut, dan kini mereka telahpun menjadi warga negara malaysia. Dan saya memiliki sanak family di ke dua-dua daerah tersebut.
