My best memories were devotions like this when I was in foster home,early 80s Los Angeles. I miss Rev Thomas, such a beautiful soul. When they returned me to my mom I never got to experience it again. Was steared away from the church, from God. Recently,now in my 50s I've reconnected. Going back to school for my theology degree. That’s good Devotion....got the older seasoned deacons leading devotion just like it use to be. Just throw me in a seasoned deaconess do that singing style of praying on 5th Sunday for Women’s Day, and we can do this. Just take me back when church use to be taken seriously, and no praise teams.

I miss a pastor, his name is Rev William Gregory. Soon after he delivers a sermon, he would start saying something he says over and over again. I thought he said "Show your behind now" 😂😂😂😂😂 He said "Show your burdens now" 😂😂😂 Miss those days.
