I love chinatown, esp this hawker centre. It has many great local food. Its a great video to show friends who wants to visit or are new to Singapore. I have german friends who buy clothes at the market. Thanks Jimmy, Ojisan!
@jimmyyap38283 жыл бұрын
Hi Evelyn - Happy that yr German visitors were taken by you to tour Chinatown and they also enjoyed their shopping !. Yes the Hawker Centre with hundreds of stalls with such a wide range of food offered since tenths of yrs is definitely a must to show all visitors. It is always good that foreigners can take a peep into how food are being prepared in front of them. Thanks to our strategic location that our Port of Singapore ranks 2nd in the world after China. Yes the mouth of the Singapore River is so close to the heart of Chinatown. Keppel Harbour to the ancient Railway Train Station are within 10 mins by car.

Thanks to all in the POH family. Normally I prefer to do historical tours such as Peranakan Houses to Singapore River Heritage and Chinatown tours. However Ghib has taken me to some of his favorites Japanese Restaurants to Sushi at Japanese Supermarkets. In turn I have shown him Yishun Park Hawker Centre to Old Airport ( Kallang ) Food Centre
