This tune was a request from my cuz D.J. ;) Of course, it's only taken me about seven months to actually record it *rolling eyes*. Bad Molly.
Hope you enjoy! It's on the short side (like me, tee hee). I was so thrilled to get through a take without crashing and burning on the lever flip that I decided to lock it down while I was ahead!

Thank you so much! It is a little tricky on the lever harp especially (lever flip, as you can see!) I always seem to hear this tune played faster than I like. It has such a wonderful meditative quality when slowed down a bit...

This is actually perfect.....so lovely! Not to mention you, and your harp too, which looks well constructed, with excellent tonal quality.......and a tad on the expensive side. I got a Mid-east so I could get started earlier, since they're the least expensive I know of, but alas, you get what you pay for.

@lsdvine Thanks! The beginning was intentional...I was trying to start out with a simple drone, to underscore the simple beauty of the melody, and then gradually build the accompaniment up to full. But that's not to everyone's taste. ;) And I hope my reply to harpproful didn't seem rude...I really was hoping they would elaborate on what they found wanting.

No biggie...I had my weight on my hands and turned my right wrist a bit funny. Nothing broken or even sprained...I think I may have mildly strained a tendon, though. I've been icing it and wearing a wrist brace for a few days, and it already feels much better. :)

Hey you're back, are you working on "she moved through the fair" yet? This song is great, have you heard of "Sweet Comeraghs", it's one of the best laments I've heard. Try it.

It is not as difficult as people think...it can be very simple if you want it to. Try it sometime! :)
