the quality just seems a lot higher than any convenience store I've seen here in the US
@lmaree2008863 жыл бұрын
The US has much lower food standards than most countries. Especially with food quality, preparation and ingredients. Many food additives are banned in many countries but not in the US. It's unfortunate. Also bleaching eggs is an odd practice, it doesn't really clean them. There's plenty of proof that it makes the shells more porous and susceptible to absorbing germs and viruses.

When I was in Japan in 2019, I had Family Mart, 7-11, Lawson's and Natural Lawson's all around my hotel and I enjoyed all of them. Next time I go to Japan (and that WILL happen, dang it), I'll try more of the snacks and such at Family Mart, after watching this video. Not a complaint you will hear out of me, either.

When you go, make sure to try Sukiya as well, but do get a large portion and then one extra meat portion if you have it for dinner, the normal portion is quite small by western standards. And MOS burger of course, that is a must :-)
