As a beginner too, I really enjoy your using irids and dichros in different manners, along with step by step directions.

Tabitha, I love your ideas and how you so kindly share them with us. Just an FYI. I have had success with irid and using a stencil by putting the powder directly on top of the irid and the tekta under the irid then fire to a soft full fuse. Also, I tend to use a darker colors of irid. The image is subtle but elegant. Thanks again for sharing.

Hi - Can you help? I have just popped some irid into a kiln at 720C but the effect has burned off - I am wondering why yours was fine on full fuse? Thank you

Hi, I'm sorry you are having trouble with irid glass, but without knowing exactly what glass you used, it is really difficult to say what could have gone wrong.
