Wow! I worked at Casdon/Cassidy Bros for a couple of months at the end of 1999, I had thought it had closed years ago. I was expecting you to continue with the history of Subbuteo. In previous months you covered the World Cup Edition and Munich Edition... was there a box set for later World Cups? If not, what was the thinking that stopped Waddingtons from creating one. Ironically, I had Subbuteo throughout the 1970s, but had stopped playing it by 1978, and given the sets that I had to a neighbours children. So, I never knew what became of Subbuteo.

Just come across this channel whilst starting up the subbuteo stadium hobby again in lockdown. Brilliant, you have a new sub guys. I’m currently trying to recreate the Keepmoat stadium and that Pegasus pitch looked beautiful! Considering the worn pitch too by there was no D on the edge of the 18 yard box.

Hi. I've got mine out for the first time in over 30 years due to the lockdown here in the Uk to teach my 14 year old son and we are both loving it. After watching numerous matches ect on KZbin to familiarise and to show my son , the thing I've noticed Is that our players don't slide acros the pitch that far and topple over, the ones on KZbin glide for ever, is there different weighted players, ours are from the late 70s early 80s. Yes - a lot of modern Subbuteo style bases have flatter bases and are designed for sliding and chipping rather than spinning. Look out for names like Zeugo on Subbuteoworld.com or Astrobase and look for their Pro bases.

Greetings from Australia. Great to discover this show at a time when distractions are much needed. Having brought Subbiteo here when we migrated 50 years ago, we found the country was a Subbuteo desert but now it's taken off here as well.

O boy great games back in the day we’re absolutely fab. I’ve always been a waddingtons table football set fan. My late dad got me it as a Christmas present. The best Christmas present I ever got.

Excellent show, as always. It's a helluva long time to wait for the next one, though, so I bought the 2 dvds from SW to keep me going in these difficult times. Highly recommended viewing as well. Any chance of doing the show twice a month sometime in the future ??

It's a lovely thought but the show, as it is, is quite expensive and time consuming to make. The Table Football Studio is permanent so I pay rent on it every month, the collection has to keep evolving so that we can cover subjects properly and, despite the messing about, each show is planned, scripted, music composed and each EP involves filming, recording, editing and audio mixing which takes me 14+ hours a month. I have no issues with the loot, for me it's a community project for all of us and we will keep it free - it's a principle - but the time is an issue for all of us as we all work and we all have families. Having said all of that I am doing a mid-month Edition this month - just for the sake of my own morale :)
