I love reading and also listen to audiobooks when sewing, knitting or stitching. The Ann Hazelwood book you are giving away is set where I live. Some of the places mentioned are very real as is the little log home where she lives. My latest audiobook was the Jane Austen Society. It’s so so good! I listened to it twice!!

I hope I get to visit the shop someday. It looks amazing, and what a fun location. Great question! I can look through the comments for book ideas. I loved reading The Thursday Murder Club by Richard Osman. Perfect summer read with quirky characters in a retirement village. There are at least 4 books in the series.

I adore the Flavia DeLuce series by Alan Bradley. She’s a very spunky preteen girl chemist who solves murders in her quaint English village while simultaneously making her older sisters’ lives a misery. I want to be like Flavia when I grow up!

First time I watched you! I’m a fan. Subscribed. My favorite summer read is one of the three Susan Branch autobiographies titled Martha’s Vineyard Isle of dreams. Could be a movie one day. So good I read all three every summer! I hear the Ann Hazelton books are great! I’ll be back to see more episodes!

Yes! I loved the Thornbirds also! I like any Elin Hilderbrand books that take place in Nantucket. I’m currently reading The Five-Star Weekend.

A past summer read that was the first to come to mind is Gone With The Wind. I read it as a teenager while on the beach one summer. A couple authors whose books I have been reading lately are Kristin Hannah and Ann Patchett.

Oh - never read Thornbirds so I will now go and read it. I retired last year and have been doing a tremendous amount of reading. I typically go for clean books and love Christian suspense books with a little romance thrown in. Some of my favorite authors are Christie Barrett, Irene Hannon, Lynette Easton - soo many. I belong to FB groups for ideas. Haven’t tried any of the “Quilt” books yet 😀

I loved reading The Thornbirds too. I recently saw where Jennifer Chiaverini has a new book in the Elm Creek Quilts series. I need to get caught up on those. Would love to try this new author(new to me) Ann Hazelwood

It's hard to say what my favorite summer read would be but this summer I am reading 'A Quilting Cozy' book series by Carol Dean Jones. There are 12 books in the mystery series. Each book builds on the last but is also a standalone story and includes a quilt pattern that goes with the plot.

Favorite read would be the Seven Sisters series (8 books). All the books are available. Blessings, Diane

I think it was nice doing the video outside:) I just finished a series called the Kensington Chronicles by Lori Wick...I really enjoyed them. I like "Jaws"...the first movie is definitely the best one.

For a summer read I like 'If Only It Were True" by Marc Levy. It's a fun Rom Com, short read. It was made into the movie 'Just Like Heaven' with Reese Witherspoon and Mark Ruffalo.
