The most important thing to me when shopping anywhere is warm, helpful staff and Pine Needles has that in spades. Every single employee, whether in person or by phone, is kind, helpful, patient, and knowledgeable. It is such a pleasure to visit your store. I am already looking forward to my next trip to Utah and should see you all on March 1st. Yay!

When I go into a store, I love to be greeted with a friendly smile and hello. Being personable and making customers feel comfortable. When i was new to quilting, the store i went into was so lovely and helpful, that's the one i keep going back to. The selection is so important as well. Thank you for sharing.

I really love when a shop offers precut and folded fat quarters of a collection right below or above the fabrics in that collection.

The most important thing when I go into a quilt store is seeing finished quilts with the fabric and pattern readably available. I love your shop, I could stay in it for hours. I’m from Mississippi and my daughter use to live in SLC. Pine Needles was one of the highlights of my visits out west. I’ve called and placed an order with you before and it was so easy. Your staff is very friendly. I’m glad you are on KZbin!

When I go into a quilt shop, I want to be inspired by everything I see (colors, patterns, textures, etc..) to create more things! Quilt shops help me recharge.

Best thing is when you feel welcome in the store and there are lots of samples to see. Always nice to have a friendly face greet you and then be as excited as you are about your current projects and purchases.

Friendly customer service is nice and I like to find the patterns and fabrics of samples I see. I zoom in on my favorite colors. I like kits too!

I Love it when employees are willing to help find matching fabrics, give suggestions or answer questions. I went to a quilt shop where the employees were working on their own projects and would not even take the time to help me. I've never been back to that shop. Pine Needles employees have always been willing to help and so friendly. Thank you!!!

Hello ladies! When I go into a fabric or needlework shop I love to see things neatly displayed in a clean environment. A mish mash of things is disarray is a big turnoff for me as it makes shopping become work instead of fun. I also really appreciate friendly, welcoming employees who are low key and not pushy salespeople. Luckily, as a general rule, quilters and stitchers are the nicest people!

I would say first it would be the presentation - colorful, variety, selection, samples, etc. Very important is that it must be organized. I cannot shop in a messy store 😅. I loved to be greeted when arriving. Your store checks all the boxes so I must visit you soon!

My favorite stores and the ones I return to again and again are the ones that make you feel welcomed when you walk in the door, have LOTS of stitched models and projects ideas. Prices are usually fairly competitive between stores but I will pay more and travel further for those things.

I know it shouldn't matter, but, being a man, i really appreciate feeling welcomed. More times than not, that is not the case. I often get followed around like I was going to do something sinister or something. Also, I love variety of kits, price points and just the tons of creative ideas that people have. My dad is a big cross stitcher! I feel like men do a lot of the more difficult patterns. I’m sorry you have had a bad experience in stores. We have a few male customers that quilted and we love to see them in our store!😊

I love the displays and if the people that run it are friendly.I visit quilt stores every where.I went on N Alaskan Cruise last year and there were a few quilt shops. To visit and that was so much fun!!!! Can’t remember the names of them tho.

Price is most important. Second is shop models. Also I love to see (easier done on smaller items) things made up in different colorways or patterns fabric themes. I always thought if I had a shop I would add pictures of customer projects using different fabrics in area or pinned to the display.
