Did my first powerlifting meet at Dan's gym this past February and he was such a nice and quite man. Caught him in the back warm up room after my last deadlift and was nice to catch a pick and ask a few questions.

Finally geez I been waiting for this. Dave and Dan can listen to these dudes for ever. Thank you much. I work so I missed the live feed. And of course we train, so time is limited on working days. Peace and grace.

Absolutely loved this podcast! One part that stuck out in my mind was when Dave talked about when the weight gets so heavy that it's hard to think. What are you going to do? It kind of reminds me of the fight between The Hulk and Thanos. (Yes, I know I'm a nerd. But I am comfortable with my nerdiness.) One theory goes that Thanos was able to whip the snot out of Hulk because Hulk was just in beserker mode but Thanos was able to think through the pain and come back with strategies. In the same way, if you get used to thinking while under heavy loads, you dont just have to rely on crazy hype and beserker mode strength. You can remember your cues and push through intelligently and have success.

How much is Dave Tate paying KZbin? The algorithm likes this video so much it is constantly auto playing, like three vids into whatever it comes on. All roads lead to Dan Greene on KZbin, I was listening to Zac Telander talk about the Russian squat program, then the Bulgarian method auto played, then this came on. It’s at least once a week and I’ve already listened to it about three times.
