Hi, I made this video a couple of years ago mostly showing footwork rather than complexity I guess. As we all know footwork in a defensive style is one of the most important things to work on. I think I've improved on some details of this video and I'm thinking of posting a new training video. For the people who ask about my level, in the last two years I've played for my country(Mexico) in some international competitions. I'm currently sponsored by Tibhar so I use a Stratus power defense, nimbus 2.0 and mythik 1.5

This is really useful! I really want to be a modern defender too, so this can really help. It's hard to find stuff like this. It's also hard to find modern defensive tactics.

The training is good, but it would be better if the coach feeds more spinny topspins for the defender to chop. His feeds are not that spinny, thus easy to return. In a real game, opponents will vary as well as intensify their loops, hence more difficult to return those topspins. If the coach can do that, then the defender can get more out of it.

It's called training... It's mean for you to get used to the chopping and the motion as well as foot work... Yes, its good to train with super back spin ball for the player, so he can get use to it too, but this is training session, the player need as much balls as he can get in a day. I'm pretty sure after the training he will get to play a real match with someone. That's what I do when I train....

some drop shots are also missing because a real game with a defender is made of slow loops, fast loops, drop shots, fake loops, hits...but the regularity is good and the physical condition also.
