I’m bad at coaching, if someone showed me this video I can praise them for knowing the idea/theory and the form they want to have. But the thing is everything can be better I wouldn’t know what point to drive to the student, a lot of the hit would have gone in for example if he was in the better position relative to the ball, but my biggest gripe and what he does every single time is the position of the knees during and after hitting. He always pointed it forward and not moving his body weight with the hit correctly for example he ended up folding the knee upward after hit and do like a squat. If he had let the knee fold towards the body and use his bodyweight to go with the hit then a lot of the ball would go in because like 80% of the return especially is fairly high and if he contact correctly he would have landed a nice drive instead of an uncontrolled loop. Like you said his hit selection which is brushing is better suited for later timing on the ball and more hitting/drive would be perfectly fine for earlier timing. Of course he would have to change his body position if he’d drive the ball instead.

Awesome coaching as usual. I always get some new gold nuggets from every video. Thanks Looeelooee!

Thanks for reviewing my game, you actually very well described some of my thoughts, e.g often I don't think where to put my loop, I just want to make a proper loop somewhere on a table, but when I actually think about placement - loops are more consistent. In this game I tried to loop a lot only because my opponent gave me opportunities to do it, and when I started to lose points I needed to change smth but I didn't, that was one of the reason I've sent this game for review. I will work on "letting the ball bounce" with drills you provided and also on all other aspects you've mentioned. Thanks again and hope I will be able to send a game with all fixed mistakes!

No problem. And nothing wrong with losing because you missed but played the correct shot. I'll never get mad at you for trying to loop a loopable ball. Good luck!!

You are miles away of that game you try to play.. i think you need basics to learn then to play smart not like premoved, already deside you will attakc and ball is to hard but you deside already. Tehnike looks good.. but just wait better ball, dont atrack on 3td its for pros and advanced..

There's nothing wrong with him going for 3rd ball attack he's already almost 1800 level USATT which is quite advanced. He just needs to focus on some of things I pointed out in this video and he'll get a lot better

@@Looeelooee ok.. but this looks bad.. from my experiance, its better when you think gor a litle.. he will never win with game.. becouse very easy balls he miss, how he can attack low and havy backsin balls.. just saying.. thats from my experiance.. my trainer say play it lik it is play.. attack 3th ball, and i play like that, but when i stop to train and play more safe and attack when i feel good, i start to enjoy more and play better game

Yeah he's going for difficult shots so hes gonna need more practice for sure. It's all relative and situational though so maybe for your situation it does make more sense to push it all just depends what you're trying to accomplish. But if you're having more fun that is always good!

I'm from Germany and I'm pretty sure 1340 ttr is NOT anywhere close to 1800 USATT. My research showed it's rather like 1500-1600 max.
