Table-Top Ready Seraphon Jungle Bases

In this video I make a simple table top ready jungle base for my seraphon Scar-vet on Carnosaur. It's a really awesome looking model and I wanted it to have an equally cool jungle base theme with a pool of water at the dinosaurs foot.
This is really simple and easy to make with just some things that you probably already have around your hobby study.

Very nice video, some good ideas for jungle bases. In my opinion one of the best and easiest instruction videos out there that I've seen so far, so thanks for that! What I did see once before is someone using aquarium plants. But he gave the tip to spray your plants with a mat varnish first to take the gloss out a bit before applying them to your base. I'm just not sure anymore where I've seen it and I am wondering if that varnish spray will be enough to take that plastic gloss away.

Thanks for the kind words. The aquarium plants are a bit glossy so spraying with a mat varnish could help. Or they could be applied before priming but then they will need painting and I didn't wnt to do that. One of these days I will spray him with a clearcoat of mat spray to protect his paint job after that I will have to reapply some glue to the pond to get that atery sheen back.

For adding rock detail I like to use attolight granite, and for my current tyranid army I use agrella earth for nice rocks, can't wait to try some techniques on my new seraphon models
