I'm 59 years old. Pure maths was not explained with this kind of clear and step like explaination those days. You just made me feel like a 17 old again. Thank you😊

So is that a compliment ? 🤪 u literally just said pure math wasn't explained that good at those times but then again you said he just made u feel like 17 again🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️

@@saadsohail4690 Bruh you really didn't understand what he said? This brought him back to his formative years because these things should be learned then. However, his teachers didn't teach well so he didn't grasp this concepts. Now that the man in the video has explained it well it brought him back to when he was younger. Stop trying to disagree just so you can feel better about yourself. It makes you look like a fool.

I enjoy re-learning algebra after a 60 year hiatus. When the political landscape gets so toxic, I can't take any more, I find solace in the certainty and purity of math. You are a good teacher, and it's all starting to come back now. Plus I like the flexibility of the tablet presentation over many others I have seen. Thank you!

If you had a 60 year hiatus from algebra, what does that tell you about the importance of algebra other than a job for a teacher? They kept telling us "You'll need this some day." But somehow we had a good life without it.

Again another superb presentation. Good maths teachers take it "slow" and repeat certain steps to get the abstract concepts across to the student. These short videos are wonderful tools for anyone interested in maths, or needs revision at basic levels. Thank you again for the deliberate stressing of important points like using brackets and signs.

Great video, I, as an adult tried and tried to handle that formula, and more often than not, I came up woth wrong answers. I always got to the end part, but, that is where I lost it. Now I know what to do in future. I did that problem, and, as usual, lost it at very end. I square rooted the 64,,,, then divided the 8 by the 2, came up with X = 6 or X = -2. (not that it does me any good, I am just interested in maths as a past time to keep the 74 yr old brain active. Thanks
