Hi guys, nice video (congrats) which gives people a better understanding of these rubbers taking into consideration the "millions" of possibilities of combinations 🙂 As a player with quite a long experience off/on the table I have played with Ten 05 before for about 7 years ! At first it was horrible, I thought I could play with but NO ! so this is what I give as advice, if you are an intermediate to advanced player who practices about once per week, this rubber is NOT for you. Ten 05 requires feeling and timing so you don't overshoot, which is the the tendency of most of these players (very frustrating). For this it requires practice, when you do get it, it's great no doubt. I have switched to G-1 because of what you said, it's a more tolerant rubber with lots of gears, especially if you don't have time to practice !! No questions. One of the best shots (in my opinion) is the counter, you can smash through or even get amazing contact with a lot of control. This is not easy at all with 05 where the ball kicks away quickly. I don't know Neotech, but I found the vacuum pack interesting (I wonder why), does the rubber decay too fast ?! If you are not an advanced (Bundesliga level) player, your biggest problem will probably not even be technical... but your footing will be horrible, making "timing" the biggest issue, so tolerant rubbers will be the best option. My 5 cents 🙂

Great review, and I agree that Fastarc G-1 is a great rubber, good control and very decent speed. I've bought many rubbers in your site, and I made the mistake of trusting reviews of advanced players when I'm begginer-intermediate. Bought Donic Bluefire Z2 and Rakza X both max sponge and put them in my Cybershape, and I couldn't control the shots, my game went down by a lot. Bought Rakza 7 soft and feels like heaven, it's a very consistent rubber with decent spin. I've used Fastarc G-1 on my backhand and it's really good, I'm improving my technique to be able to use its full potential. I like the way you review the rubbers, not often you see the ones talking about the rubbers actually playing with them, and you can see on the videos what kind of shots are the rubbers good for.

I am an intermediate to beginner player and I have been playing table tennis for about 2 years. My blade is nittaku barwell fleet do you think the fastarc g1 rubber will be fast for me for my forehand or will it really provide good control and spin?
@Belgamor77 Жыл бұрын
@@yunusemregunes6391 It depends a bit on your style, if you're a looper, flat hitter, drive... Fastarc G1 is a good rubber with good control, but your blade is a bit fast already and paired with G1 could be a bit too fast. Don't know your level, but to learn and develop your strokes is good to go with rubbers with great control such as Rakza 7 soft. If you are not hitting the ball a lot out of the table (overhitting), I could recommend you Fastarc G1 on your forehand and Rakza 7 soft on backhand, although I learned in my first years with Rakza 7 soft on both sides.

My main FH rubber used to be T05. I loved it because of its high throw arc and grippiness, which gave me really good loops and serves. But it was too expensive for me and very fragile. That's when I discovered Baracuda, which had an even higher throw and even more grip than the Tenergy 05. A bit slower but still really good mid distance. I have not tried G1 and X5, but from your reviews, I'm really interested in trying them out, especially on the BH, where I usually choose soft, low throw rubbers.
@esmolol4091 Жыл бұрын
Nittaku G1 has a very stiff and strong top rubber. It's very durable and the spin speed and power is top notch. Barracuda is very classical, but still, the spin is monstrous on hard hits, because it's slightly grippier and more elastic than G1. Tenergy is maximum elasticity IMO, this comes with reduces durability and fast wear, which makes it costly very fast if you want to have the best effect until it reduces, which happens too fast imo. DHS hurricane 3 (neo) has insane amounts of power with chinese power technique, but it takes the most amount of training to master.
@PilyongInggo Жыл бұрын
try G1 it is way way better than baracuda.. You can do anything with this rubber...
@esmolol4091 Жыл бұрын
@@PilyongInggo I wouldn't say better but very different. Barracuda is not as precise as G1 but grips the ball much better, which can be bad at blocking slow spinny topspins, but perfect for backspin close game and topspin against long pushes.
@phtabletennisvlog4473 Жыл бұрын
@@esmolol4091 Precisely. What I do with slow spinny topspins is just counter it head on off the bounce with a very close racket. Hard to do though, if I'm just one step slower, I wouldn't be able catch the bounce and either throw the ball off the table or wait for it under the table and loop it. How's the Arc on G1? Is it anywhere near T05 or Barracuda?
@esmolol4091 Жыл бұрын
@@phtabletennisvlog4473 I would say it's definitely lower than the other two because the topsheet is very firm. But for countertopspins far from the table I would say that G1 has more clearance and range than barracuda. Ten05 has the best overall arc and spin. It always depends on the blade too. With fast carbon blades ten05 is just a monster, while the arc on G1 becomes even flatter and a smashing maschine. I wouldn't use barracuda with very stiff blades, but that's just my take. Considering spin sensitivity: Barracuda most Ten05 just slightly less G1 the least

I am looking for a backhand rubber that is not too fast for my Stiga Offensive Classic (flexible and hard 5-ply wooden blade with koto outer layer). I like to use tacky rubbers for forehand -- it gives me the dwell time that is needed to develop my strokes. I have only played table tennis for 1 year. Stiga Offensive Classic is a bouncy blade, so I dont want a bouncy rubber. Currently I am using max thinckness Yasaka Rigan, but this rubber is being discontinued.

Probaré esa Fastarc G-1, a ver cómo funciona. Para el derecho prefiero las gomas pegajosas Pro. Gracias.

2 reviews dignics 09c and tenergy 05. Bad reviews, but is normal, they dont sell It. The problem Is that table tennis player made the choice. Butterfly has 70 per cent of the market.

yeah butterfly is literally beating every brand on TT11 combined, except maybe DHS.

It's old, yes, but still very usable for the bigger plastic ball.

Delivery very similar to being held hostage by ISIS state and sending a video back home to reassure their families.

I like tenergy.But only when my opponent use it.Becouse they are can not controll:)

@@realman444 You obviously play really low level players then, controlling Tenergy is not that hard it works well with players that have a good looping technique and is much faster and easer to produce more spin than rubbers like G1 but these guys won't acknowledge it and there is a reason for that. MXP is even faster just as hard, if not harder to control but when these guys reviewed it they put emphasis on how balanced and powerful it is when they reviewed it rather than the weak points like short game control which requires just as much precision as T05 if not more. This is simply because TT11 don't sell butterfly products so their video obviously not going to be positive as butterfly is their number 1 competitor, so they will MAGNIFY the downsides of tenergy and only review other rubbers with less bais

@@gab5012 so in your opinon eg Samsonow plays really low level (becouse hi stop to use tenergy ,mx-p,mx-s better controll.) Long time ago Swedish and eg Hungarians the thew world champions .That time was not tenergye but now almost all use tenergy so will not be world champion again excluding China.Chinese players controll chinese rubbers much better than best pro players controll tenergy -really low level in your opinon.The way is good physical fitness,good technique ,better controll with less catapult effect equipment:) lLook at the Chinese. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_World_Table_Tennis_Championships_medalists since 2008 tenergy came to market after only chinese campionchip.look before..... only silver medalist they do not use tenergy hi use short pimple and yasaka brand and Truls Möregårdh use stiga dna :) bronze medalist japan player An Jae-hyun use chinese rubber and xiom omega on backhand . 21 players (nobody got gold and silver) only 2 players Timo Boll and Lee who got bronz they use tenergy.Tenergy way not to be world champion so my comment was tru tenergy for timo boll (and lee)

@@realman444 NO, your level should not be judged by what rubber you play, you mis-understand me. My point was simple MXP has the same disadvantages they stated tenergy 05 had, but they did not make a big deal out of it. Where as with Tenergy 05 they bashed on it's downsides and did not acknowledge it's advantages nor why so many players use it from armatur to top players. Also what the pro players use should not have to big of an impact on what you choose.
@gab50122 жыл бұрын
@@realman444But if ALL your opponents that use T05 can't control them then you obviously regularly play people who don't have good technique or feeling and don't know how to choose equipment. Samsanov is an great player and knows what suits him so he made the switch. If you play opponents to continue to play rubbers they can't control or fully utilize then they can't be very strong can they? Anyone can use a rubber well or at least control if they are training with it every day
