@Сергей Буханцов you are from eurooe, so you have learnt the western method. Coach Emratthich here is explaining the chinese method. The chinese hard rubbers are only good if you put in strength from your lower body. The chinese method is better for most players, but some would prefer the western version as it works better for them.

Right now I use Xiom Allround S with Xiom Vega Asia Hybrid (50° ESN hardness) and Xiom Vega Pro (47.5° ESN hardness). Very good control, speed is good enough for 40+ plastic ball for me and spin is crazy. Highly recommend this for new players, gives good feedback and feel on serve. Clear sweet-spot on looping. Excellent flicks as well on BH.

coach EmRatThich, My first was Haoshuai blade, then Yasaka extra special, a player introduced me Ma Lin carbon so I got it as well. The former all wood blades has very good feel but is thicker, the latter carbon is thinner. Definitely better to practice first on wood blade to get correct full motion of the techniques using the slower rubbers. It doesn't need to be expensive to be a good blade, the Yasaka is more affordable and of good quality. More importantly suits your own style and physique.

The table tennis shop near me has Nittaku Acoustic and Stiga Clipper and im going to buy both for my son. And will let my son decide which he will use when the time comes for him to learn table tennis. I also want to try the Butterfly SK7 clasic. My 1st blade was Butterfly Mazunov when i was still in the Philippines. Now I live in Japan for 20 years but when I 1st came here in Japan I bought a Stiga WRB Carbo 7.6 then a Stiga WRB Titanium 5.4. 2 or 3 years ago I bought 2 Friendship 8030 and a Butterfly Sardius. Lately I bought a Butterfly Fan Zhendong Super ZLC to add for my collection of blades. And later will buy the Nittaku Acoustic, Stiga Clipper and Butterfly SK7 classic.

I've owned/used the following blades that were listed in the video: 1. Nittaku Acoustic - I owned the Tenaly version. The sound, feeling, and balance in the hand is the best out of all the blades I've ever used. After switching to other faster blades, this felt slow. Luckily, there was a Tenaly Acoustic Carbon Inner version. This one was perfect for me. 2. Butterfly Viscaria - has a great chirping sound when looping with this blade and some Rubbers. It's very light and pretty balanced. However, I noticed I overshoot with this blade. One other thing I didn't like was that the edges were sharp and can not be sanded down due to the outer carbon layer. I liked this blade for the performance and feel but couldn't get over the sharp edges. 3. Stiga Clipper Wood - this blade is very thick. A bit heavy too. I was told the ones being manufactured today are NOT the same as the ones used in the 1990s/2000s. Sound and feeling is average. I didn't like it. 4. DHS Hurricane Long 5 - this blade felt light but it may have just been the balance. The sound on this blade seemed a bit "hollow". This alone turned me off on this blade.

I tried playing with hurricane 3 neo og a stiga offensive classic after watching this video, but I concluded after a few months that it was too difficult to develop that way ... so I went back to soft yasaka rubbers on forehand that was recommended to me by an expert shop (former top european player). I think its important to listen to the coach in your club and not get too excited by youtubers that get viewers by being provocative. I am considering to try rakza 7 on forehand in the long run tho, so I can get some kind of middle ground between the super hard chinese rubber and the dwell time of the soft euro style. Maybe the best advice I can give to others it to experiment with different rubbers and blades and see what you like yourself.

Razka 7 is what im using for some time now. I play it in a off+ dyjas power (donic) and with a Super Anti from butterfly. I twiddle to confuse the opponent, and i can say Razka 7 works pretty well on both sides. The only thing i would recommend is, to get it with a thickness over 2.0 (2.1/2.2 in preference) , because otherwise, it will bottom down in some shots. That said, imo, it is one of the best rubbers atm, being a perfect upgrade from a Mark V back in the days.

@z0uLess
@z0uLess 2 жыл бұрын
@@jasperellustrismo thanks for advice, after a while with soft rubber on forehand I decided to try rakza z, which is a hybrid rubber and this works perfectly for me becaue it was really really hard to counter topspin with soft rubber. My blade is flexible, so this is good for me because I think rakza z is a chinese rubber for beginners because it has a little more bounce to it. Yes, I had to hit harder with H3, but I got this bad habit of hitting with the arm to compensate for not being able to create enough force to engage the rubber. It might not be the rubbers fault, but this is what happened at least. I am still working hard on getting a proper topspin, 9 months into my table tennis journey. Most players at my level get crushed by a hard flat hit to the right position, so I tend to fall into the habit of using this flat stretched out arm stroke now. There is lots and lots of videos on my channel of me playing, marked with the date of recording.

Since it’s very frustrating to play like this, I have now bought a blade Yasaka defender, to be equipped with 2.2mm galaxy mars medium for the forehand and 2mm gewo mega flex control on the backhand, I am looking for control first.

Would you recommend the stiga rosewood xo for intermdiate if money were no concern? Would it be stiffer than the viscaria? I’ve had enough of my stiga oc carbon because i want more feeling and spin. I am an intermediate but have chosen to play like Wang liqin because of my height and big forehand strokes. Thing is I completely agree with the fact that the carbon blade set me back in my development so I’m looking for more vibration and feeling. I like the stiga clipper but apparently the handles on stiga blades are all hollow now (and I think butterfly does it better with the feel)

Hi, they are good all-wood blades on the market, you will need to pay attention to the layers of wood, a good 5 ply blade could be the Stiga Emerald VPS V, has a good feeling and awesome control, also make sure to find a wood that really fits on you, for example, a Koto wood is harder and faster than limba wood. If you already played with carbon blades, and you want more feeling on your strokes, I recommend the Ovtcharov or Harimoto inner force series, or the blade that I am using right now that is Xiom Azxi, the good thing with this type of blade is that they have the carbon just after the core, not under the surface like viscaria, so it will have more feeling but you will have good speed.

Hi Coach, I´m currently using Timo Boll Spirit (96g) with Tenergy 05 on both sides, but would like to go down in the weight to get more conrtol out of the racquet. What i like is the heavy one shot topspin ball i can play with that combination but it feels just a bit heavy in general. I also would like to play a blade, which is a little bit softer for opening topspins without getting a too high launch angle. Is there any blade you would recommend? I was thinking about the Viscaria or Lin Gaoyuang ALC. And in general: would oyu reccomend softer rubbers on harder blades and harder rubbers on softer blades? How does that affect the launch angle and the feel? I´m a bit worried, that the fast forehand topspins will get a too high launch angle wiht a soft blade even with a hard rubber. and what do you think about the mentioned blades for my favours?

From my own personal experience... The heavy blad is perfect cause it prevents error like opening you're bat to Mutch during topspin brushes... And the blade u play iz perfect especially for speed .... Cause it's quite quick... So I'd Rather you combine that wit rubber with a Mutch lower throwing velocity and then acceleration would be even amplified cause of your blade
@jayykeyblunnin2940
@jayykeyblunnin2940 2 жыл бұрын
Soo if you thinking lighter blade ... But u concerned about your topspin and throw angle ... And speed... Then I'll recommend u try a blade with carbon fiber Plies In the wood ... That makes it Mutch lighter but way faster than just wood .... Thn simpley add a nice hard forhand rubber without the high throw angle to back all that Pace up ...Soo thn maby add a softer more Tacky, grippier backhand rubber to confuse you're aponent when dowing your backhand chop... & Your backhand topspin also even... Cause from the backhand roll to the forehand topspin 🔥 the speed difference will almost make it impossible to react quick enough...

Hi Coach, I'm begginer and love to watch your videos. So in all that info you gave in your videos about Chinese philosophy and European philosophy ,i find that Chinese philosophy is right one and for start i want to have that kind of setup in my first racket. In this video one of racket you mentioned is Ma Lin extra offensive with both backend and forehand side with yasaka mark v. So I'm little bit confused. Do you mean yasaka mark V classic on both side? What thickness for backend and for forehand? Sorry for so much question. Regards, Denis

Hi Coach! Excelent movie. Can you compare Nittaku Acoustic to Tibhar Stratus Powerwood and Butterlfy Petr Korbel JP in terms of speed, spin, flexibility, feeling, hardness and handle size? I have Korbel JP 92g and Stratus Powerwood 84g with ST handles. Second blade have perfect handle size for me (maybe because stratus is 6.2 mm). Have Nittaku Acoustic similar handle or is thinner?

I just ordered a Buttrfly Petr Korbel Japan blade, what rubber (not just Butterfly) would you recommend for this that would be best for a player with a county-level attacking style of play?. I got 2db Friendship 729 Super FX Orange 2.2 rubber from a friend, how would they fit this blade?, my favorite rubber is the TIBHAR MX-S you can give a great side false spin with it, but I also like the Yasaka Rakza Z rubber, this would fit this blade ?. Thanks in advance for your reply, the video is useful.

What’s your recommendation if I want to develop an offensive playing style? Carbon? Is there a good alternative to use on the backhand of Stiga Offensive Classic other than Stiga Mantra M? I think Stiga Mantra M is going out of production. Would Nittaku Fastarc C-1 work well? I also wonder if DHS Hurricane 301 is a similar blade to the Stiga Offensive Classic, only faster.

14:07 Hello and thank you for your advice and help. I have a question, since you recommend all wood paddles, how come the butterfly primorac you show on the video is the one with carbon?. I’m a little confused there because I also believe all wood is better but the one you show has carbon. I feel the carbon makes it lighter and I kind of like a little weighted blade.
@davidsomo1651
