What strikes me the most is how friendly, outgoing and open he is. He is willing to treat Dan as an equal and even gives him tips. A true ambassador to the kindness of the Nigerian people. On top of that, I just REALLY enjoy watching Dan play actual points with the players, it puts into perspective how good the pros really are by playing against someone who is actually quite good for not being a pro. Keep doing that :)

I would love to see "blind tests" where you have average blades and rubbers and more advanced ones, and you let different top players use either to decide which is the best. In the current state of affairs, where you are informed about what equipment you're playing with and its assumed qualities, it is hard to distinguish an honest review from affiliate marketing.

Thanks for the video! Now I can die peacefully that you FINALLY reviewed a JOOLA equipment. Although I'd say that it's a little bit late for the Aruna blade.. you should see 2016's JOOLA Air Carbon blade because it is possibly even better. Also a Joola Rubber review would be nice.

I know you get rotation Dan, it is levels of skill that make it look average. An average player like myself struggles with the amount as you do with Apolonia for example. Another great review mate, who's next. Surely me lol ;)

looks like Aruna OFF is exactly the same blade as old Rosskopf Emotion but twice time more expensive . I own a RE and i like it but i find it a bit slow with PB lacking a top gear & hard rubber choice dependance. Thanks for sharing

hey guys I have a tibhar samsonov VLC blade and a 5Q for my forehand and a stiga airoc Astro m on my backhand...anything I can do to make it better..I had a butterfly blade before which I preferred to this.

Cool. Another "review" of a blade with amazing speed and amazing control at the same time. You got the joola table, the joola barrier in the background, the joola net, the joola box, the joola rubbers and of course the mandatory pro player who repeats the "great speed, great spin AND great control" slogan with semi decent acting.

I feel like Timo Boll is sort of the number 1 person I would point to if I wanted to show someone how to play table tennis kindly, respect your opponents and have fun. And a very close number 2 would be Quadri. I really, really like him.

Aruna is a great blade, but Rhyzm rubbers not that good especially in rotation. I have tried Tenergy 05FX and this combination just perfect.

I think what he wanted to say was it looks like topspin, but is actually backspin. And to put topspin on the ball instead he just pulls up his wrist.

Leo Da Vinci I'm pretty sure it would take a real world-class topspin to trouble Aruna. Dan's topspin is pretty darn good for a part-time player.

Ankur S It's not just against Aruna, watch the other reviews when he plays against friends, the topspins are a little bit too slow to really be threatening

Arm snap. I noticed that in counter topspin rallies sometimes you do a semi drive topspin, If you look closely you will see it. This is a very precise component. Your game is a little bit flat-hit oriented and that affects other important aspects within game. So you need to either give your technique a little bit of elasticity or avoid playing techniques which are performed best with a different aproach in technique.

Ladder Shaw always thought so but yesterday tried the aruna off with 05 and 80fx to replace my innerforce layer alc and blade is really really good. Will give Joola a chance:)
