Normandy is played a lot usually because it has all the cool late war toys, plus the tables generally look the best out of all the theatres (in my humble opinion).

I’ve watched a bunch of your bat reps. I always appreciate them. I finally got into bolt action starting with late war German grenadiers. I also appreciate your learning game videos. Me and my friend are really excited to get a game going.

Great game! I think the confused fight rules would make more sense if the units came in on a random table edge because you know, they're confused haha! My experience with it is that you get a weird chain of friendly unit - enemy unit coming behind to kill it - friendly unit comes on right behind to kill the enemy unit haha
@tabletopcp2 жыл бұрын
Random would be good. As is it is sort of a game within a game to make sure your unit gets to come in where you want it

15:03 I think the increase for wound rolls while being in buildings isn't applicable for HE, and pins are increased for HE weapons when firing against units inside buildings.
@tabletopcp2 жыл бұрын
Pins are increased? Didn’t see that on the chart.
@RationalExpectations2 жыл бұрын
Always fun to see Bolt Action. Just one rules clarification: Going down in a building doesn't give the infantry inside the usual -2 to hit because the HE weapon is shooting at the building, not the infantry. As per the rulebook, "When rolling to hit, you ignore any to hit penalties for cover." However, going down still halves the number of hits taken from HE.
@tabletopcp2 жыл бұрын
I believe they have changed that in one of the FAQs

Going down counts in a building as a -2 in V2

Where did you find the plastic rings to wrap bases to ID the units. Thank you

Got ‘em off eBay years ago. They were in a Conan oars game. Haven’t seen ten around for a while. But some people are 3d printing them now.

This game went down from the start, I can't see how to bring the paras out of the town with equal points. Thank you anyway.

Awesome batrep, u probably said it at some point but where are the buildings from? Still searching for nice affordable MDF terrain for my bolt action games

Sarrisa makes some great affordable terrain. Kind of bare bones but cheap.

Hi. Look at your videos and some times you have colored “rings” around some of your mini bases to easily see who is a leader or so. What are those “rings” called?
@tabletopcp2 жыл бұрын
I dont know what the official name for them is. We just call them base rings. You can find some from 3d printer sellers.

Got ‘em off eBay years ago. They were part of a board game. Haven’t seen them around for a long time. Try 3d printers or files they are available there.

@@tabletopcp what's your thoughts on taking open top vehicles?
@tabletopcp2 жыл бұрын
@@1982Clarkey I don’t have a problem with it. It’s not often someone will fire on it with small arms. Usually there is something better to shoot at. I mean it does happen but not as often as you would think.

Its wespe not wesp, the silent e;s at the end of words is an english language thing, not so much in other languages using the roman alphabet.

Well if you want something different. Look at the British and Soviet invasion of Iran in August of 1941. This way the British and Soviets deny oil from Iran to the Axis powers.

I wonder if people a century from today will be playing tabletop wargames with modern era miniatures fighting a syville w@r between the patriots and globalists. I’d buy that ruleset.🪖🐸🇺🇸
