One trick for Celestine I think you missed: When the unit no longer contains a bodyguard so it's no longer an attached unit, you may allocate wounds to Celestine before the last geminae. That let's Celestine use her 4+ FNP which is quite an important survivability tool

It's also why solo Celestine is a hilarious annoyance unit. Super fast, hits decently hard, and eats wounds like a champion.

22:40 the paragons have +1 to hit and wound against monsters and vehicles, so it would have hit and wound on 2+, plus the grenade launchers are twin linked and should have re-rolled the failed wounds, the bonus +1 is for range and melee. "Righteous Paragons: Each time a model in this unit makes an attack that targets a MONSTER or VEHICLE unit, add 1 to the Hit roll and add 1 to the Wound roll."

Dante was probably left over from whatever template they use for editing. When you are working with so many effects, it's a lot easier to start with either a template, or start by using an exiting recording and swapping out elements.

At the beginning the nameplate under Jinx said “Beard.” Dante is used as the background at the start of the GSC list intro. The music faded from the intro into Jinx and Beard chatting but then spiked in volume over their dialogue before fading again. And an early Smoke animation still had the black square background. After that I didn’t notice anything else amiss. I’m grateful for all your work. Great battle report as usual!

The audio mixing seems really off on this episode. The music was a bit too loud during the list introductions, especially during Beards bit, and it just jumped too WAY to loud and drowned out the players at the beginning of the game. Im only 5 minutes in, so hopefully that changes, but its a bit rough.

I appreciate the enthusiasm yall put into each production, but when the battle report for 2 new codexes is BARELY over an hour long; that seems like there is gonna be terrible balance Big oof, guess GW only has 2 codex writers for 40k and its just a coin flip for whether your codex is great or terrible.

I read somewhere that's it's likely 3 writers, so 1/3 of the books will be good, the other third will be bland but playable and the last third will be terrible. Not sure if it's true, but the slow release schedule could also be due to logistical problems. Them printing out-of-date books and shipping them across the globe takes time in the days of very uncertain supply chains.

Just think the patriarch should be similar to how it originally was, Swollen with over developed mind/brain and barely able to walk and then the new thing should be a Beta/perfect form genestealer that acts as its physical enforcer.
