This is a great video. I ordered from glorious Creations to make my own and the order came fast and accurately. I will order from this. Company again when I need more liturgical/praise dance items.

in the bible (King James) Tabret and Timbrel are both words in there. How are they not the same? both are accompanied with worship and dancing. Im very confused and how do we know how they were meant to be played if the bible doesnt tell us?
@ladylibrum7145 Жыл бұрын
A tabret or timbrel in the Bible was a frame drum without the cymbals that a modern tambourine has. Frame drums are popular in Middle Eastern music. What is shown here is more of a modern take on the tabret because of the cloth stretched in between the wooden hoops; It’s not a literal “tabret” as described in the scriptures. I make these using organdy ribbons instead of the mylar tinsel streamers, and I call them “hoops”. To me, this is equivalent to praise and worship flags/banners because of the symbols on the cloth and the symbolic use of color in the streamers. They are waved around like worship flags. (You can also attach small jingle bells on them with wire and make them into a kind of musical instrument). I love dancing and waving my hoops. Jeanette has many videos where she demonstrates the tabrets, and also a book explaining the use of symbolic worship tools like the tabret. There is so much variety and creativity in how this particular worship tool is made, praise God! 🙌🏻
