I believe that Adam may be trying to figure out a way to live peacefully with Lilith going through multiple iterations as to an extent likely they understand that it wasn't Lilith fault they ended up on earth,something must have happened something severe enough that Adam wasn't upset but the rules placed are causing problems, essentially so the only solution is to carefully cause changes upon each reset / re rolls and it seems to be working as Adam found his place in the world as he has been reborn
