Karla has found some new use cases since shield fighter. She's one of the very few melee units that can break through shield fighter near saves, cuz she denies defensive specials from triggering.

Insane how premium seasonal units (Duo/Harmonics) that all released just last year are completely undesirable to me. I only have one of them and while I wouldn't mind getting these units of course, I'm not willing to spend a single orb for them.

free tickets are always nice, got absolutely nothing from them, but still. duo Byleth comes in a right timing for those who want to build Marni, and mystic boost 4 is so rare it's criminal.

This is a pretty good banner if you want to +10 two duo units cheaply-ish, for scoring. Duo units normally do well enough to be your score bots for a few years. Outside of that, it's a pretty easy skip, the meta took a huge jump after Christmas.

I remember seeing a PSA on the subreddit a few days ago that a banner like this was listed in game files or something but no units. As to the units themselves, I do like Shamir and Ymir but I struggle to find a place to use them with so much overlap with my other units. Shamir lacking Canto on her basekit sucks, I could easily fodder off someone to her but I don't use her regularly enough to justify that. Ymir is a nice enough Colorless Tome tank but my Guinevere fills that role already and I don't use her as much as I'd like to need to either. Other units on the banner, you know, they'd be nice to get but I'm good even without. I don't even know who I'd fodder Weaving Fighter to, my Saves I still rarely use aren't speedy.

I wanted a copy of Duo Mark, but I ended up getting Duo Karla grom tickets, which was cool since I didn't have her. Also got another Double Anna. Didn't get a lot of blue stones, sadly. I thought about pulling red for fodder, but I still ended up getting a new unit so I'm pretty happy.

I actually had some good luck on this with only tickets, for once. I ended up pulling Christmas Byleth which was a big positive; I’ve been stockpiling a whole bunch of potential armor fodder for if Miklan gets added to the game either as his base form (preferably his Three Hopes story version) or his beast form in a Fallen banner. … Yes I’m delusional and I know the chances are slim to none.

Ugh, Bride Tiki reruns always hit at the worst possible times. I'd like to merge her up (mine is +1), but I don't have the orbs when there's a new Emblem Hero around the corner... Bride Tiki is uniquely positioned to abuse Ike's Emblem ring (since unlike her Brave alt, she ramps at start of combat and not before her attack). I do love that I.S. is pretending they didn't power-creep the hell out of her with Valentine's Myrrh. Although I guess I could say the same for Ninja Sanaki as there is basically no reason to run a red cav mage that isn't named Gullveig. Suggestion for Shamir fans: She seems to really want Atk/Spd Mastery. I don't have the fodder to test, but I imagine Canto 2 out of the A slot would go a long way with her.

Weaving Fighter fodder is pretty tempting for my Marni to use, but mine already has Shield Fighter which seems to be the way to go to survive many of the things today.

I was only missing Mark from these 8 heroes, and didn't manage to get him with the free summons. My free summons were just terrible, not even heroes that I needed for my merge projects.

I free pulled Anna, for resonant battles she's useful because of the warping, I guess. All the units are outdated by now, I wouldn't recommend pulling here unless any of them is a favorite.

Karla is useful here , shamir is a merge project of mine despite the powercreep, and I don’t have a copy of duo lyn/mark. The problem here? The emblem hero is nigh and I can’t risk using any orbs.

I must be the luckiest guy in the world - I wound up getting a 4-star Special Rate Perceval that upgraded to 5-Star, Duo Sanaka and Harmonized Carla by just using the Free Summon tickets

Holding off is your best bet. The Emblem banner is gonna be this week and you’ll probably want to get multiple copies for fodder and for Emblem effects. These units have good fodder but if you’re summoning just to get a copy, they’re not worth it.
