Not anymore because the school was turning into a circus due to the pandemic. I now travel the country doing true one on one training with whoever is next on the list. I usually bring my RV and all materials and machines are in your driveway or local campground until you have learned the ropes. It usually doesn’t cost as much as the school does due the fees and you don’t have to worry about traveling. We come too you.

It would be great to see new videos from you, miss your channel, now only Korean welders put out new decent stuff on KZbin

And to check how good the purge is some welders use small thin stainless plate which they lay on the gap and do a short and hold an arc for a sec, if on the opposite side of the plate all is good - the purge is also good

Why not instead of bullet/bridge tacks simply weld a small metal plate across the bevels? I mean you won't need to grind every time you come close to the bullet/bridge tack - just a couple of strikes with a hammer and the plate drops off. What's your opinion on that?

We cannot use a grinder on our weld test. They kinda picky. I bought a small hand saw that helped me pass. It has carbide teeth
