Glad to see I’m not the only one who struggles on keeping tackle sorted and organized. Currently doing the same thing here in Tennessee. I like the idea of storing plastics in a box and not in a bag. Haven’t been doing that the last couple years and it is a pain to flip thru all those bags. I think you have sold me on boxing them up. Keep them coming. Awesome videos

Ben, you need to come to Milliken Colorado, do a meet and greet at the scheels there then come fly fish some streams or hit the reservoirs for small mouth. BTW that is the most disorganized organization ever. Get a peg board on the entire back wall, keep all things soft in the bags on the pegboard, but build day boxes off the wall. Restock the wall with your day boxes when you return and when you buy more theres always room. Keep hard baits like you got them.

I use a similar method. Plano 3700s are great. They fit in milk crates, backpacks, and Tuff boxes. I think the hardest part of staying organised is when you go fish another body of water or for different types of fish. You can't bring everything... I fish out of a kayak and you can only fit so much. Tackle gets shoved into boxes with dissimilar tackle to save room. Then a few days later you go fish somewhere else and it only gets worse. The Plano boxes at least help moving gear from a pack pack for hike in fishing to a kayak milkcrate. I will never use traditional tackle boxes again.

I have the hardest time keeping my crankbaits separated , I think that’s why I stopped using Strike King and now use only Jackal Aska and 6th sense flats and crushes because it’s easy to tell the difference and don’t get me started on mixing up DD medium and shallows lol

A quick tip for people who have bent/kink up baits, just boil the bent part of the plastic or boil the whole thing. It will straighten out your bent plastics back to its former shape.

Lol I tried using big ziploc bags and labeling them T Rig , Trailer, Shaky Head and Drop Shot but then some of my soft plastics can be used for two or three or all 4 of those and then it gets messy and god I love tackle

I doubt you’ll see this, let alone answer this... but i’ve got a few questions for you... literally all I fish are ponds. and they’re not very big ponds at that, but there are some slaunches in there. i’ve got em on some top water poppers. but my question for you would be... what would be your perfect set up for these ponds? i’m not positive on how deep they are though, so crank baits are out i think. but anyways man, any help would be much appreciated. i’m tryin to get my son into fishing, but it’s kinda hard when he gets bored because we’re not catching a lot of fish. unless I put some worms on a hook with a bobber for the bluegill. anyways, hope you see and answer this man! thank you!
