Ive got to say. Ive watched/heard loads of different podcasts on loads of different subjects. Matt is a class interviewer. He lets them speak and asks the right questions at the right time. Top marks!

Who’s giving this a thumbs down? 🤦🏻♂️ Madness!! The guy is a legend!! I’ve messaged him privately on social media about a few things feeder fishing related and every time he’s got back to me in great detail. Always happy to answer any questions.

He is the same off camera and in the flesh, pretty amazing guy, always has time for everyone. Loves a good laugh and a joke, great sense of humour. No arrogance whatsoever, just self belief and is driven.

An epic podcast in more ways than one. I could’ve carried on watching for another three and a half hours. Steve is a legend in his own lifetime and to hear all about his experiences throughout his career has been both entertaining and inspirational. Thank you Steve, and thanks to Guru for all you do to promote the sport we all love so much. A great series and I can’t wait for the next one. 👌👍

Superb. Watched in two sittings. His vid of how to fish Boddington with bomb & pellet helped me win a qualifier. Followed a lot of his tips for my own benefit, bought a stopwatch recently to give it a go on timings. Top man

This was awesome. I think you guys should do a podcast with Julian Cundiff, he's contributed so much to fishing over the decades and it would be brilliant to hear his story on a podcast.

A really good watch, despite the hosts's ridiculous voice. How on earth anyone can end up with an accent like that is a mystery to me. "I'm getting anxious jusshht lisshhtening to thisshh" "In termsshh of being physshhically drained by fisshhing" Anyway, Ringer was superb and it was an excellent watch. Great detail but not dwelling too much on any era or event. He covered so much ground which I must also credit the host for. Thumbs up.

My answer to the final question would be "There's more to fishing, than just catching fish".A lot of fishermen forget this. They get that focussed on catching fish they forget to enjoy the surroundings, the wildlife etc.I have been to carp puddles, completely devoid of wildlife but stuffed with fish.I have also been to and know some fisheries where it is worth the dayticket/permit just to sit there and catch nowt.

Just my opinion but in the World angling Champs it should be all methods inclusive. Just let every country fish the method which is required on the day.
