the best podcast you done boys , michael as brill and so interesting , and did great memories for me , as use to do them big matches of 240 plus at makins, and actally won 2 finals in teams of 12 and teams of 3 , one win was more luck then judgement as it was frozen over , all 3 phases, i was on crator 1 and able to walk down the side break all my swin down the side , and to the island, , and won , michael mentioned terry binchiff , in was in my teams of 3

I love these podcasts. It has been so fun to hear the top anglers talk of Porth Reservoir and White Acres. I grew up in Newquay and those are the venues I started fishing on. I clearly remember Kieran Rich asking me how I had been catching one day and I am sure I fished next to others. I tell my kids fishing is a level playing field and you could be sat next to world champions as much as non. I am now based in Rome, ITA, and while getting back into match fishing I randomly started talking to someone who clearly knew what he was doing. We exchanged numbers so I could join their WhatsApp group. Turns out he is the team manager for the Italian womens and veterans teams and he fished for Italy at Holme Pierpoint in 1994 (when Bob Nudd won) 👍🏼👍🏼 Keep it up Matt et al 👏🏼👏🏼. And if you want to do a road trip to Rome, I will gladly host ya 🍷🍷
