The good news is: safety glasses wouldn't have helped your toe lol I dropped a trailer axle on my finger not as heavy but it's part of the deal. I always make the mistake of working till I'm completely exhausted and that's when you fuck up.
@colemanbohl33384 жыл бұрын
You are a legend man. Smashed tf out of your toe and got back at it. Even built a freakin axle stand👍🏼

Just do a Dana 30 from an XJ with a long arm kit for an XJ

That seems to be the swap of choice for a ranger mainly because it's easy and cheaper

Wow, how much is an axle swap really worthy? and I thought a divorce was bad....but its worth it right, no matter how much you lose!

hey man i really enjoy the videos, im in the middle of 3.4 swapping my 93 and next year i will be sasing my 93! but iiv got a rusted 84 pickup im going to take the axle out of but is there any tricks to removing the axle from the truck?
@HiddenInstinct6 жыл бұрын
Are you talking removing the axle from the 84? Or pulling all the ifs off the 93?
@Red_Beard_Builds6 жыл бұрын
Hidden Instinct both but got to start by removing the 84s straight axle which I see your not using Toyota axles right?
@HiddenInstinct6 жыл бұрын
Toyota Life ya it’s a late 70’s Ford F-250 axle. Removing the ifs brackets and cross member that are welded to the frame is bitch. I’d recommend using a plasma cutter to get the large pieces off and then a cutoff wheel on a grinder to get as much as you can before you start grinding with a flap wheel. As far as the solid axle you should just have to disconnect the drive shaft, disconnect the brake lines and any sensors that may be on there, then take the u bolts off the leaf springs and it should roll right out.

Would axles form a 79 blazer work
@HiddenInstinct6 жыл бұрын
Brandon Duramax not unless you change the transfer case to a passenger side. Has to be a drivers side pinion fords and wagoneers have them.
@oscaralvarez11316 жыл бұрын
What year it's the front axcel .
@HiddenInstinct6 жыл бұрын
Oscar Alvarez it’s from a late 70’s Ford F-250. I think they put them in the 150’s too from I believe 74- 78 or 79.

Are true bead locks street legal? I thought you were in Utah, and It's been a while since I thought about it, but I seem to remember they weren't legal here.
@HiddenInstinct6 жыл бұрын
Jason Lloyd they are not street legal. There are a couple of split rim bead locks that are street legal but they are expensive.
