Tacoma Water Leak vid

I had a water leak in the cab. water was coming in from the wire harness and the main electrical harness grommet. Most Hardware stores and HomeDepot will have Duct Seal.

I also have that problem, a huge amount of water after lots of rain on the driver's side floorboard. I'll be checking this out. Thanks for posting this!

Also check if there are any electrical lines going into the cab. Or if you have roof racks the screws could be the issue. I made sure to silicone the heck out of mine.

Yeah that's what my issue was, it was a wire for one of my light bars. It was actually the type of wire covers or loom that was retaining water. The cover would get soaked and fizzle down to inside of the cab dripping over the floor board.

I have a 3rd gen manual Tacoma as well. I bought an oem Tundra coin holder. It's rectangular in shape. It fits perfectly into the rectangular slot infront of the front cup holders. It looks like a factory option.

Just a heads up for some. I have a similar roof rack and didn’t properly install a seal where it connects to roof. Water leaked from roof into the frame door handle and dripped directly down. Wasn’t sure until a stain formed afterwards.

I have this wet driver floor problem as well. I don’t have any roof racks on my truck but I do have wires coming into the cab, through the fire wall, for my fog lights. I checked and it’s not pooling water from the fire wall but I still get water in the floor somehow. Any suggestions?? I plan to take up the floor board to further investigate sometime this week.

Take a water hose and run low on areas you think it might be coming from. Pull your floor mats also and watch each area you think might be the cause.

How wet was your floor? We just had heavy rain and my floor was completely soaked from front to back seat only driver side And nothing else was wet, I only noticed because I pulled out my floor mat to clean it and underneath was soaking wet all the way through

I just got a big rain storm and had my floor mat full of water 😢 now my speakers don’t work 😰 damn ditch lights I gotta check that out my problem is most likely the same as yours

Its been a common problem for those of us that used that access hole. But all this time and one problem so far

Anyone have REAR DRV floor??? Every video not titled to area. Searching possibles before start take 2020 apart. (Not the AC as thought- Got dry and raised the funnel above mat, stopped until next rain.)

It really sounds like the rack is leaking through one of the installation holes in Lorraine channel. I would remove each screw, and silicone the hole before putting the screws back in.

FYI. The video is showing the problems i had and how i resolved it. Apparently you have other issues. I hope you can resolve your problems. 😁
