man, watching all your videos made me remember that my father used to collect baseball caps. so i rescued two bags full of them from between the monster wardrobe and ceiling and had a sneak peek. expected a junk collection of german cap crap but boy was i wrong. cleaned, sorted, counted and rebagged them. all in all 70 caps you might classify as „fillers“ and 118 of very nice ones! less than 10 are slightly used, many still with tags on em. and legend has it three bags fell behind the wardrobe never to be seen again 😜 unfortunately, there is no market for vintages caps in germany 🥴 greetings!

Rototiller is a better quality one, possibly a Troy-Bilt. In working condition it's worth $300-$400. You were going about trying to move it all the wrong ways. It's possible someone left it in gear, easy to check by moving the gear lever. Also, with those long handles sticking off the back you had a ton of Leverage right there to lift it up and pivot it

Invest in a couple of 2✖️12s that’s about 8’ long wood planks to keep in the van to roll that heavy stuff in with or nail some plywood on them to make a ramp that can stand up out of your way in the van or lay it on the floor.

Enjoy your videos Taco Stacks. If you plan on selling sewing machines, they all need the foot pedal and power cord to work unless they are an antique non-electric treadle model. Sometimes the power cord is separate from the foot control but most are made together and have an odd looking plug that connects to the machine. If you are just going to scrap the machine it doesnt matter though. Hope you & Salsa have a Happy Thanksgiving!

With that nice big van, you could hang a set of motorcycle ramps on the inside of the van. They are nice and light and not too expensive. Then you could use a hand truck to load tillers and washing machines. It would be easy to hang the ramps. I would offer to help you out in exchange for a couple beanies....lol.

Don't bag the leaves b/c that is lots of work but instead use the lawnmower. If you go over "leafy areas" 3-5 times, the lawnmoer is going to break down the leaves into small pieces and it is going to decompose much faster

Growing up in Michigan we hit the Good-Well boxes. I work for Redford Twp. so 5 days a week. I would be outside in the cold scouting the trash, made a killing in cans returns to buy lunch. A lot a copper and brass. Batteries and old glass oil bottles. I now live in Texas. There was as old woman she had 2 young black men work with her. Shy had a work venter truck. They would pick-up old washers and dryers and drop them in an area. I think the people in Redford call for the pick-ups. There still money in recycling. This woman was 75 or 80. She have a happy hard working smile.

I would never bring home a used vacuum or even 1 that sat outside for trash. No matter how much a person say it's worth. Bringing home someone else's bedbugs and or roaches are not worth the amount of money it would cost to clean your home from someone else bedbugs and or roaches. I rather just take the cord. It's safer. then putting the vacuum in your truck or car is a risk of them crawling on you and bringing them into your house and onto Salsa . That's not worth it . Why risk it taco because of someone else statement of anger towards you. Because you didn't bring a dirty vacuum home? Peace & love 💛💙💜💚✌😉👍
@craig19746 жыл бұрын
He would not have to bring the vaccum into the house if he does not want to. Just toss the paper bag. The frigid cold air in the garage would probably more than likely freeze the critters out like fleas. I once salvaged 2 Hoover Elite rewind bagless vacuums from the trash, and made one good one out of the two. One had a noisy motor, and the other had a busted dirt cup. I took the cup off the one with the bad motor, and put it on the one with the good motor that had a bad dirt cup. After almost 5 years we are still using the vacuum to this day, and it works awesome. FYI our house is reasonably clean, and not a dump. When trash picking vacuums to save you have to use proper judgement in deciding to save them, or scrap them. I come across some very gross ones i was intimidated by. Just clean/fix them outside, or in a basement before testing in a house.

Troybilt Horse tiller- $2000+ brand new. That's an older one, but the older ones are regarded as better built, and the old Kohler motors are prized. Very good chance that it just needs the carb cleaned to get it running again as many people leave gas in them, don't use them for a year or two, and the gas turns to goo. Anyhow, that model would easily sell for $700+ if running and if it's springtime. But they are heavy and weigh just shy of 400 pounds- lots of cast iron, including the engine sleeve. Great tillers, probably the best produced in the US, very durable.

Time to hit the Wheaties for breakfast or invest in a ramp. Even if you get a couple of 2x6's and add ramp lips to them that you could either make or buy at Harbor Freight. If you really want to go all out, invest in a small winch that you could mount just behind your divider, on the floor. That tiller would have been comingwith me.

It's really a thing. Couple of years ago one of my neighbors built their first fire of the fall in their fireplace, let it burn down, and went to bed. Smoke alarm woke them up a couple of hours later - their roof was on fire. Bird's nest in their chimney had smouldered until it lit the surrounding wall afire, which went into the roof. His money quote: It's NEVER a good thing to see a fireman coming in your front door with a pickaxe.
