I really enjoy you internal dialogues about furniture, they make me laugh because much as the entrepreneur in you says "takes up too much room etc etc" you have such a good instinct for what is interesting and individual which comes to the surface. Don't let that good taste and feeling you have for it, be too easily suppressed. You have what we call 'the eye' for it, which not everyone who sells old furniture has. I wish for your sake there was a 'mid-century vintage' specialised market every few months in your area. You would clean up! Keep up what you are doing, and don't worry about what the watchers in the street think. Love your channel.

That black box is an army foot locker from before ww-II. Best thing I ever found at a garage sale was a stack of aircraft avionics, the lady said she thought it was a CB Radio of some sort, said it was left in the attic by a guy who had rented her house. Said she'd take five bucks for it. Being a pilot, I recognized it as what we called a "full sack" dual Nav-com radios, ADF, DME and a transponder, all made by King Avionics. I paid her and was walking away when she pointed to a box and said, I think that goes with it. Turned out to be the four instruments that went with the radios and a full wiring harness. I sold it to a local avionics shop for $4000 and he probably doubled his money on it.
