I have Canadian relatives. They're rich. They never tire of saying how superior socialized healthcare is. My aunt just got diagnosed with breast cancer. She came down to Yale immediately.

For the average person socialized healthcare is great
@justing749011 ай бұрын
@@HybridBlueDreamthe average person interacts with the medical field less than once a year. Most men over 20 years old interact with a medical professional once every 5 years, on average. Pretending like the regular person walking down the street benefits from socialized medicine is nonsensical. The vast minority of the population that has regular medical appointments benefits greatly from socialized medicine. The vast majority of the population spends more money than they would spend if they had a dedicated medical expenses account

Ant getting patriotic. As Patrice said: “You’re Italian, you got here two days ago. You helped put the lamp on the Statue of Liberty”
@kingconcerto586011 ай бұрын
Patrice is highly overrated. He really wasn't that funny on O&A, he had his moments but he was usually just loud and annoying. I don't understand why everybody talks about him like he was Carlin.

@@DeanH92 I don't hate anybody. I'm not gonna pretend that Patrice is some sort of legend akin to Carlin/Hicks/Kinison as the way people speak about him though. Just because he died young people talk about him with such absurd reverence. Most of the old O&A clips I listen to with Patrice, I end up having to skip huge chunks of the show because he is so loud and irritating. Why pretend that somebody is hilarious when they're not, just because they're dead?

Britain in the mid 2000’s must have been the best party if you were wealthy. Imagine knocking back shots and randomly partying with the libertines, going to an early arctic monkeys show. Doing a ripper with Noel and Liam. Going see Paul Weller at the 100 Club, yada yada
