Honestly I didnt notice how miserable he was until.Ant got fired and then Ant and Jim started talkin about how hard it was to work with him. So now if i go back and listen to old clips.i can hear how misersble he became. I think the big turning point with OnA and them not getting along is when Ants ex wife took Opies gf on vacation with her on Ants Dime and Opie would still hang out with Ants ex wife cause his girl at the time wss friends with her. I read Ants book , he pointed out that Opie and his GF would treat Ants new gf like shit because they were friends with Ants ex wife. That also stuck a wedge in their friendship. Honestly its crazy how much longer they were able to still work together and keep the show going. Opie blocked me on Twitter because I brought up that over the years he turned into his mother. Watching these clips of Anthony without Opie or Patrice (RIP), Burr, Bob Kelly, Vos, and other guest who were great like louie C.K and Colin is boring. I don't laugh like i did from the O and A show. Maybe it's the people he have on the show are not good to bounce energy off of or maybe the crazy took over or maybe the cast from the past subdued the pointless banter or maybe hearing the same stories over and over and over about the past show to a point where the only time he pops on my feed now is when he is talking about Opie. @pendafen7405 Жыл бұрын
True. Ant's complained in the past about how Opie would repeatedly chastise Ant in front of the staff and management about coming in late, which says a lot about Ant's level of professionalism. It's understandable to quiet-quit at a shitty unfair menial low-paying job like Ant started out doing, but to keep up with that sloppy rude tardiness and slacking when you're being paid millions and a staff are depending on you to get in on time is another level. @MMAVoodoo I can understand that. He had to direct the flow of the show and often times that meant dialing things back, setting up bits, re-directing conversation to the next topic. Etc. Aka the not fun job. He did the boring work of the show and I agree that's needed, but that's not how he's painted himself or the history of the show as. He thinks he elevated every element of the show, was the critical funny guy and his hardwork made everything happen. He's flexed that a lot people wouldn't be where they were if it wasn't for him and his star power. I was told he claimed he's the reason Patrice has a career. Not humble whatsoever.

@@APeopleP3rson He had a pretty severe blocked artery actually. He was going in to have it taken care of. He didn't have an actual heart attack. He had a Stent put in 20 years ago, so he knew this was going to be an issue later.

Love listening to Anthony rip into Opie and he deserves every bit of it. He’s a clinical narcissist.

why dont ant and opie get in the ring and duke it out already
@malikjohnston3883 Жыл бұрын
because Opie would grab at Ant's hair like a girl and end up ripping out all of Ant's plugs. Ant would punch Opie's nose and not make any difference. Or Ant could trash Opie about anything and have him crying before a punch was even thrown.

sounds more like they need to get in a bed and rail it out. if they allow that in nursing homes
