That is adjustable, you didn’t have to do surgery. The female clip on the bag slides forward and aft.

TacStar also makes a version of this brass catcher that attaches around your handguard with Velcro; that might be a more desirable option for people having clearance issues with their optics. FYI.

Like I said about 1:12 in the video.. they say it will hold 120 pcs of 223 brass....I put 100 300blk(made from 223 brass) for the video and IMHO it was too full to safely add any more then that when shooting. I feel like your more then safe shooting if you keep it down to 60 pcs. It is easy and quick to empty so no big deal to empty it after a couple of mags.
