I would love it if you'd do a series on tactical shorts, as much as that exists. As much as I love my basic 5.11 tacpants, with triple digits in much of the country pants just aren't an option for many of your viewers.

Are you sure you have the dark denim color? They look as grey as a grey man in the video and the stitching is black. On their website the dark denim has a copper colored stiching

Not knocking these pants or any specialty tactical pants. I recently found a great EDC pair of jeans, the Lee Premium Denim Jeans. They are a normal looking pair of jeans with all the standard jean pockets. They are available from black to light blue, but the biggest plus for EDC, especially if you carry a firearm (especially AIWB), is that they are made of a moderate 4-way stretch denim allowing a little more give in the waist so that you don't need to go up a size to accommodate your firearm. The denim is also a little softer than most denim making it very comfortable. The pockets seem to be a little larger than average jeans as well. Price is only about $35-$40. So if you are looking to be as incognito as possible, I would check them out.

so, you confirmed something I known for a while. I am the same hight as you, but I wear 32/30. Im all torso, thick neck too. clothing has always been a problem for me to get the right fit. So, Anybody Including Mike, I wear in the waist band too. Did you buy your exact size and have the room and ability to stretch in an in the wasteland holster? I find I often have to buy 33 or 34 waist if I want to wear in the waist. I am looking to buy these pants, but this is the only area holding back my purchase. Cant find anything else on the net to answer this question. Thanks

I know the "coin pocket" as a pocket that use to hold your pocket watch, and the style just continued. Is it common to store coins in there?

it depends on a country.... in Ireland I use a lot of 1 and 2 euro coins as well as 50 ,20 and 10 cent ones... all the time-but I use my wallet for that. I actually come from Poland and we always called it a condom pocket....
@luthix33147 жыл бұрын
What I meant in that negative review is the metal button falls apart with no effort. Just twist it a little and I bet it will come apart. I bought a new button from Amazon and the pants work great now. I would hate to be out hunting or in a tactical situation and have my pants come apart like that and the weight of the gun and mags pull them down to my ankles with no way to fix them.

Which do u prefer the flex defender or the mcquade? Thx
@LastLineOfDefense7 жыл бұрын
Tough call - the Defenders (slim anyway) are a little slimmer fitting, and I prefer the fit of the McQuade, but that's all preference. I like the layout and pockets of both of them, though the McQuades do have more, which I do like. The Defenders might be a little more fashionable, while the McQuades have a little more Utility.
@mowgli29087 жыл бұрын
The Defender Flex Jeans do have more belt loops. I definitely prefer 7+ loops, not 5 loops like these have.

Is there any stretch in the waist band, or is it pretty much just the stretch of the fabric?
@LastLineOfDefense7 жыл бұрын
The waist doesn't have any dedicated stretch points, so yeah it's just the stretch of the fabric, I believe. Sorry, I should have touched on that in the review.

Hey, love you reviews, have been watching you for a few years now. Just a small suggestion since ur channel is getting bigger. Maybe invest in a wireless lav mic? It will make this kind of reviews much easier for you (to not have a cable dangling around :D), and may open up for some other kind of filming angle too~
@LastLineOfDefense7 жыл бұрын
Haha, I own one, just haven't used it yet. I have to then deal with attaching the battery thing somewhere, too. No perfect solution yet, that I know of, or could afford maybe, haha.

Maybe transmitter/batterypack carriers, use a lot for people who can't put it on the waistband of their pants (B&H or amazon). Again, just my $.02. Your reviews are great, quality content with original opinions and view points. Keep it up!

You mentioned you got a size - 32, length - 30 pants. About how many inches too long is the 30 length compared to your other pants of the same length? I'm also 5'10 and am wondering if that's too long for me. Although, when I re-watched your video it didn't look too bad.

Do these pants shed water or absorb?
@clap57 жыл бұрын
These pants were way too long. the 30x30 was actually measured as a 30x33. I have to send them to the tailor to get them resized. The tailor did a great job...but I wish I would have been more clear as to how much I wanted to take off. There about a inch too long still. Will washing them shrink them at all?
@LastLineOfDefense7 жыл бұрын
Sorry about that, I think I mentioned in the video that these pants I had were a 32x30 - and I typically wear a 32x32, so I knew they ran a bit long. Either way - TD customer service is the best in the business, and next time if you have a sizing issue, I'm sure if you reached out to them, they'd get you squared away.
@clap57 жыл бұрын
I did...they offered to have them returned. But I do like the pants...just too long. I already had them tailored. I was just wondering if they would shrink a bit after a wash.

Can’t have wider belt loops and big pockets. You always comment on how you love pockets but wish the belt loops were farther apart in the front. The reason they aren’t, is because the belt loops would be in the pocket area.
