Have a TacSol XBR 12” factory SBR. Love the way it looks, feels and handles. However, it’s never run reliably since it was new several years ago. I’m particular about keeping it properly maintained, and have tried several new factory Ruger 10 and 25 shot magazines. Despite using many different brands and types of quality ammo such as CCI SV and CCI Minimag , it’s a jamamatic. It’s been back to TacSol twice for failure to extract issues. Of course I’ve tried a Volquartsen extractor, but the problem persists. I’ve heard other TacSol owners mention the same thing. Seems like some of their guns run well, but others are lemons. I’ve noticed the receiver seems out of spec-slightly larger-compared to a Ruger 10/22. The receiver pin holes are oversized and even special larger diameter pins will fall out easily with no coaxing. Anyway, it’s been a gun I want to love, but it’s been a disappointment, especially since it’s a NFA item.

I would recommend contact Customer support, they have a new guy who seems to be quiet knowledgeable, you should love it. I understand your review and would highly suggest getting a hold of tech support..

Why is it a NFA item ?

It’s a factory SBR (short barrel rifle); the barrel is shorter than 16”.

Nice review. Seems like a great gun. Curious about the retail and or “street price “

Sorry but the intro music sounds like a rip off of cocaine by Clapton.
