I love it so much when I do this, there is some games where I say the game isn't over but my team quits anyway. But when I say it and at least one person denies the surrender with me oh god it feels so good to come back for a close win or a close lost either way.

Nice. Speaking of teamwork, I think I have won more 4v5 games than I lost, for precisely that reason: The 4-man team feels that they have to work extra hard to win, whereas the 5-man team splits up, looking for the easy kills. And of course, starts raging at each other once the 4-man team takes one objective after another.

Your down-to-earth ability to accept your teams and personal mistakes, whilst attributing to the enemy their worthy skill is commendable. Down-to-earth, realistic strategists win games based on what they believe the enemy is capable of (gold and skill wise), as well as accurately assessing your team's abilities to react. Great video.

This stuff is so inspirational... I've been so negative in games before, saying we can never come back with my best buddies in real life, and nearly every time we somehow come back and they barrage me(in a friendly way) for being so negative. These kind of videos make me feel like I can make comebacks even in the slightest of chances.
@ChazDemon11 жыл бұрын
Okay so I just started watching your videos because they we advertised on leagues login. All I have to say is that they're fantastic, a real help to me as a player, I'm not level 30 yet, but i think understanding these deeper tactics and teamwork mechanics, will really give our team the edge when we get into ranked games eventually :)

I've had games like this. Down all inhibs and turrets and then come back to win. Games like that are so fun, and seeing other people say they've had epic comebacks because of teamwork is really inspiring. This video almost makes me cry, because of how awesome it is.

Amazing, reminds me of a 4v5 where our wukong trolled and fed J4 6 kills! I was playing Jax, and after Wukong afk'd, I was able to turn around the game by subduing and not dying to J4 until 11, where I started winning lane. Their whole team was super cocky, not pushing their advantages. Bot turtled long enough to where we were able to contest dragon every time I teleported down, and we won every teamfight until we pushed to their nexus. My favorite match I'd ever played!

great video, Ciderhelm! I hope people will finally start to realize that teamplay is indeed the most important component in LoL, not an early death or misplay, cause that happens to everybody

Absolutely a great video. This should be a STICKY on the main page of league of legends website as well as the HUD. If everyone watched this and listened to what was being said... the Lower ELO's would be SO much more fun.
@armaniac66111 жыл бұрын
that's true, but it's important to show politeness in the very beginning, even in champion select, cause then you increase your chances. It happened to me yesterday: I am normally a great TF mid, but I had a terrible start against a Fizz and fed him 5 kills. Overall we started off bad as a team, but won at the end, cause we stuck together. Usually I don't listen to loading screen tips, but the "A little politeness goes a long way" thing really helps when you play with people you don't know

I think that teamwork is the best thing in the game. Getting kills are great but team work helps you win the game. Working together is the best in this situation. And its the best in all games. Ciderhelm is right in everything. Teamwork is the most important thing in the game. Individual skill is also important, but that does not mean we can not play as a team better than the individual with tremendous potential. Everyone can make mistakes, but leave game when somebody make mistake? That is a low morale. And the worst thing is when somebody use offensive language... Anyway I wish you success and good mates in the game. All of you guys!

This video describes a dreamland of league of legends. I loved this video and its message, but with 4 other crazed kill-hungry newbie on the team it's hard not to get lost in the fray.
@Wiiranger8711 жыл бұрын
agreed. I had my fair share of comebacks which made me extremely reluctant in surrendering every match especially in ranked. Best fight to the end on the hope of winning than give up and regret on your mistakes. I had a match as adc and loss my lane horribly. our team was really down and about to give up, even I, however there was a Jarvan who kept on being optimistic and basically took leadership. Every death he still kept his head high which helped raise our spirits. We won the match :)

Great video, this should be mandatory for ANYONE playing League to see. Quitters can ruin any game with their negativity and League is such a game that comebacks are rarely impossible to achieve. Granted it can be frustrating when you're getting constantly wrecked but if you group up properly and work together most problems go away.

I hope alot of league players see this video and see how much team work can save a match. i say teamwork and good luck before every game,but no one says it bac which makes ppl feel good to see tht they want to really participate in a match; and when all the opposing side is killed i say push middle, but everyone is going solo and gives the opposing team time to respond. u show tru teamwork and how its done!

@andreiroid435711 жыл бұрын
They key to succes stands in one word: confidence Knowing that you have such a great lead makes you feel indestructible, but one single mistake will destroy your confidence. Like a lost teamfight after you won 10 or maybe more. So if you want to win more and more games, destroy the enemy`s confidence, make them belive they don`t have any chance to win. Theyr cooperation will drop, they will start loosing theyr focus and eventually they will so mad that they won`t be able to make any comeback

to me it feels like every 4th game or so has pretty decent teamwork. Believe it or not, but random people on the internet would much rather work together than not. All it takes is for someone to start it up and most people are more than happy to join in. As long as you communicate with your team (without swearing or being negative) other people will join in. Doing something as simple as timing dragons, reminding people it will spawn in x seconds and even trying to coordinate picks in champselect

@TheJokerscene11 жыл бұрын
True enough. but in ranked matches, as you progress, you'll meet new people and be able to make friends with them. Eventually you'll find yourself in a custom group where you'll always have the strategy advantage. Ranked matches also provide some of the better players who know these rules, so your 'luck' of getting a good team goes from about 30% to 70%

Most inspirational thing I've seen in a long time. :') Another good way to improve your games is to use RaidCall. Its Skype, except its built around gaming, and you use an online persona instead of giving strangers access to your personal info. My friends and I have been using it for 2 or 3 weeks now and it is sooooo much better than having to type messages in-game. And its made to not take very high comp specs to run it so even most laptops that can run LoL can run RaidCall at the same time.

True. The mistery of OP-Champions only exists because there are a lot of not-ranked games where the right skills are on the wrong persons in the wrong situations. For examplte Katarina does a lot of dmg when her ultimate isnt stopped very soon. And if she fires it at a fed varus it can be a kill for Kata if every cc-teammate of varus tries to get the enemy adc... But only if u let her.

you know... this is a realy cool game when u can see teamwork but that can be possible almost only in mid/high elo games... In silver/bronze games (i'm silver 2) most of the players rage, quit etc. but on about 500 games u get a team who cooporate with each other and they don't quit or surrender even if ur loosing very hard... I had one game where we played 4v5 from beginning of the game (Fizz left). We were loosing realy hard but than they started to do mistakes and in 50 min we won.It was cool

this is why i always say we can win. its not that Ciderhelms team made game changing plays, (dont get me wrong though, there were some amazing ones in there) it was that the other team got cocky and threw it. No matter how fed the other teams carries are or how bad someone is doing there is always a chance to win. (I won a game where my team had 30 kills and the other team had 75)
@sycops111 жыл бұрын
I think that's pretty much what Cider said. The opposing team failed to work together and their indecisiveness leaves them stuck in bad positions. Meanwhile, Cider's team worked all together and went all in on their strategies. With five people committed they would have more pushing power than a team that is straddling the line on what they actually want to do.
@TheAlcoholicPigeon11 жыл бұрын
Five players in one team who all communicate well, stay positive and have an acceptable amount of skill is a rare occurance. There's often 2 people mute the whole match, and a guy who picked ADC but doesn't build AD

I was playing with my cousins as a team and our asses were getting whooped and the enemy team got our nexus turret to about 50% hp but then we decided to make one finally push. With this push like you said they made the mistake of coming in alone. When they came alone to defend as when we were on their nexus turrets we manage to ace them because they would respawn at different times making them think they would have to defend alone. We ended up winning that game too. Teamwork is important

5 People doing a wrong thing often turns out better than the team dividing to do each right option. When playing with random players you will do well to learn to read their intentions and even if it isn't the best call sometimes it will turn out better to make the mistake with them than to let them make it alone.
