We got the CRAZIEST Underwater Footage you've ever seen of bass eating swimbaits! These fish are SMASHING glide baits and soft baits right in front of the camera! We all love underwater footage of bass fishing but this takes it a step further!
If you've ever wondered if bass really eat big swimbaits, you have to check this out! The old adage that big baits equal big fish couldn't be more true!
You might notice that we were fishing these baits very erratically. This is not necessarily how we would fish these baits in a typical scenario, this was an attempt to draw a "reaction strike" from the fish in front of the camera. A slow, methodical retrieve is typically better suited for open water.
The baits...

Negative, Neutral and Active fish are all there ever are. Great videos showing how few are Active or Neutral. I have also found that if the Alpha is in an Active mode, all others will wait till the Alpha “passes” on striking. Also interesting to see how the hooked fish fight with their mouth open (if not pined by hooks). Thank you and excellent work.

That's why super razor sharp hooks are so important. I use mainly all ewg treble now because when they grab they don't let go as easily In my fishing. I like those owner zo wire hooks and the Aaron Martens trebles. Gammys are good to but you can't beat those owner hooks for sharpness

I think the comment you made at the end of the fish expelling the bait is very telling. They all seem to instantly know a mistake was made when they bit the S-Waver. I know it has a huge following but I also am not convinced that bass really like the action. In my experience it attracts their attention but not so much triggers predatory instinct. The bites seem lazier and opportunistic.
