I'd like to hear their opinion on googan baits. I know they probably won't but I want to hear someone's opinion who I know won't be biased.
@Jon-nz3dm5 жыл бұрын
the bandito bug and krackin craw are just replicas of strike kings rage bug and rage craw. lunkers tried to make a video showing how they aren't the same but they are lol. they literally leased the right to use the strike king flange. and the shapes are the same they just added an extra set of kicking arms on the bandito bug and some useless things on the sides of the googan craws. so as far as which one is better, doesn't matter. the only difference that fish MIGHT care about is the scent. but there isn't any proof that either scent even helps. basically googan squad just tries to sell shitty rods to kids that don't know any better and half decent baits that have all been done before. then they price it all higher than its actual value because it says googan on it so people will pay the difference. i do like LFG tho. end rant
@spitfire1865 жыл бұрын
@@Jon-nz3dm i will say the claws on the bandito bug are much wider which can make a diffrence in some scenarios i mostly only use plasics i make at home and have for awhile cause i can use no salt which doesent make a difference in catching fish but makes baits last way longer and the googan baits are full of salt and rip easy while also costing to much
@UniBritz5 жыл бұрын
@Rumor & Innuendo @Jon L @Qwazy thanks for the replys guys. I kind of figured this might be the case and kinda disappointed to find out it was. The bandito bug was the one that peaked my interest the most. Leaves to wonder how their crank baits turn out. They're supposedly going to have good hooks and be cheaper than the competitors but of course they're going to advertise them that way. Only time will tell.
@Nicksta1775 жыл бұрын
Jon L dude don’t hate though. Favorite rods are not bad rods... and their combo isn’t set at a bad price point... their baits are good baits too. Yeah they may be $1-2 more but it is what it is and if it gives someone more confidence to have a Bandito bug tied on then awesome. They built a huge following and are reaping the benefits. Let’s be happy for all of them. And don’t forget they are getting kids out there fishing who otherwise wouldn’t have been out there. That’s what matters not us being jealous of their fame. We should be happy for them.
@imonyoutube88015 жыл бұрын
Jon L fully agree . I have a googan rod , it’s pretty good for the $60 price my opinion . I’m new to fishing but I do decent when I go out . I have googan baits one of everything just don’t use em it yet but I have many LH frogs lol don’t use those either but Caught a bass on one

@WhiteTiger39335 жыл бұрын
Trailers I love to throw are the benevolent craw from Logix Baits. For clear bright days, I throw the Salt N Pepper color. It gives a lot of shine under water and the claws have great action when you do a straight retrieve or a fast hop. If it is murky, I throw the Abyssal Craw or Watermelon/Red Fleck colors. They stand out in the colored water and they draw attention from a decent range away.
@anothersomebody81955 жыл бұрын
Looks like you missed doing the swimming action on the last one, but I don't think that would change my mind. That SK Rage craw had the finess wiggles, the swimming kicks and the slow motion movement of the "claws" when it came to rest on the bottom. I was planning to go buy some baits, so this was perfectly timed. Awesome job getting the movements. A side shot would be the extra icing on the cake if you do another one in the future. BTW, you do a REALLY good job of giving a thorough description in the video. Thanks for listing the baits in order up there. Liked, commented, and saved 👍

@Jon-nz3dm5 жыл бұрын
hey, tim. if you render the videos in the native 60fps instead of the 24 or 30fps the slow motion for the underwater videos will look much better. just my 2c, it helps a BUNCH. for all the people out there that still don't cut their skirts...this should show you that you need to. that secondary action of the skirt opening when it's sitting still is killer. and from what i'm seeing I would say that you really only need 3 types of trailers all year. beaver style, yamamoto double tail grub, and something like a rage craw for warm summer jig fishing. these are the only type i fish anyways so i'm glad this video confirmed this for me lol

Tim, appreciate the effort you put into this video. But, it doesn't matter which trailer I think looks good; which ones do the bass prefer. I think a better "study" would be to go out with the exact same jig but use two different trailers and see after a day which one caught the most fish. Most of us don't have the luxury of time to try this. Perhaps you and Matt do.

I always enjoy the underwater videos. If you could also provide a side view that would allow a more complete observation of the bait's action. When hopping the bait along the bottom the bait stays out of the frame for most of the hop though we get to see it hit bottom. Possibly a wider angle in a vertical orientation would place the bait into the frame for a more thorough view of it's action when hopping it along the bottom. It was informative and I appreciate greatly your all of your presentations.
