"When it rains in the south, it Rains!" About as true as it gets!

I grew up on Lake Guntersville. Live on Lake Guntersville. I fished tournaments and guided full time for almost 10 years here. I was pretty impressed that unlike most anglers that start catching white and/or yellow bass, you stayed. Most move on thinking that’s the school they’re seeing on the graph. And many times it is. But you figured out something that locals know. When you start catching white or yellow bass deep, there’s big bass there also. Pretty impressed. Also, the past few weeks have been the clearest the Lake has ever been. The farther up river you go, the more stained the water will be. But it’s still clear which is unusual. Looking forward to having you back for a few days in the future.

Man I know it's not but you make it look soooooo easy! Eh not a MEGA but JUST a 7 pounder lol took me 37 years to break 5 and thanks to your channel I regularly catch 5s and my 9 year old daughter caught her first 5 last year THANK YOU!

Come on Matt! Some of us know that if you really wanted to you could have dodged all those rain drops with that ChampioN. Great video. Thank you for sharing the knowledge you and Tim have gathered over the years. We are blessed to have a tool like TacticalBassin at our disposal. Keep them coming. Safe travels and may God continue to bless the TacticalBassin family.

Matt, I've only been bass fishing for two years. I really appreciate your videos because you actually teach people. But, I have to admit you've cost me a ton of money buying rods, reels and other things you've suggested. But, i'm extremely happy with all the equipment you've suggested. The difference in G. Loomis NRX rods and other rods is truly amazing.

I'm coming down there may next year. Any good places aroung Langston or nearby?
@jonathangreen14945 жыл бұрын
@@bassmedic fishing is good up there by goose pond. You can go up the river (up from langston) this time of year fishing the current and shade with buzz baits and shallow to medium cranks and such and catch some really nice bass with a big 1 occasionally. Or Matt kinda hit it on the head in the video. You can go down river from Langston and get out on the ledges and throw swimbaits, cranks, jigs, spoons. Matt did right by finding the not so obvious subtle stuff. That's where you can find you a school of bigs! Good luck to you and stay safe out there🤙

Thanks. I know it's a big lake and a lot of water for someone that's never been there before.

Big G is my home lake. When you’re catching stripers big females will sit shallower on the ledge than the stripes and wait for them to push the bait up to them. At least that’s how I’ve found the bigger fish. 30 years fishing Guntersville. Glad you were able to make it Matt!
@joebridges18783 жыл бұрын
Used the chatter bait combo (red craw with chartreuse curly tail grub) I saw in the tactical bassin thumb nail, and put some nice 3lb, 4lb fish in the boat during our club tournament at Chickamaugua passed weekend. Just not enough. This is my #1 place for tournament prep. Unlike these other fishermen, that hire a guide, post photos on social media of fish that would make a dream sack for about 7 boats, and think you want get disqualified the day of,,,wrong! Thanks, Matt and Tim
