I bought mine with the Tacticon plates and trauma pads and they fit perfectly. Not too tight by any means. I am averaged sized, not the biggest guy in the world, but I’m not the smallest. I am physically fit And I don’t carry any extra body fat. To me this carrier is very comfortable and has been adjusted perfectly for my body type. I don’t need any type of padding or offset on the inside.

I have the 5.11 TACTEC, it’s awesome for CrossFit but not suitable for everyday running as it gains a lot of attention. I have this plate carrier, and it’s not taking too much space under my sweater. Last thing, I resorted to using a rubber banding surrounding the edges of the 10x12 plate to avoid them from sinking into my skin.

Appreciate the review. Would you recommend this or the LAPG Low Vis, given their similar layout?
