I mean, isn't Lucas independently wealthy and running his own multimillion dollar business venture employing over a hundred people ALONG with having a youtube channel that is very successful also? It's a very far right wing, ultra traditionalist religious sect that is called "quiver full". The Botkin clan is one of the most prominent families within that sect. Another famous family that is part of the same sect is the Duggar family. They both have a ton of kids. Given the history of...lets say alternative religious groups within the US there is a very good chance that the Botkin family had millions of dollars from "charity" prior to Lucas ever releasing a video on youtube. I don't know that, I can't prove that, but his dad was big in that Church. He still is. They're tax exempt. Money comes, money goes. Look into it man. He means what he is saying and it isn't jealousy. He really is an extremist.

My main issue with Lucas, besides everything you detailed, is that I believe that physical strength and the ability to defend yourself without a gun are vital to responsibly carrying a firearm. Literally no counterterrorism units are hitting up random KZbinrs. They train each other. As in they ask larger or more established countries’ militaries to come and train with them. It’s a way of fostering relationships between the nations and get some training out of it. You MIGHT occasionally get verified former SOF guys giving basic marksmanship classes out to conventional units occasionally, like Pat McNamera, but nobody’s going to be pouring letters into Lucas Botkin’s channel begging to be trained by him.

Thats one of the reasons i cant believe this podcast doesnt have a way bigger following by now. What you guys, Garand Thumb, Kentucky Ballisticsn etc. are doing is absolutely what the 2A needs to bring in people who arent into the whole larping as a SOF commando thing. I feel the same way, there is a ton of 10 year cops that promote after 2 years because they have been lucky/unlucky enough to see or go through some crap start telling others "how they should act" during situations.
