I’ve been taking Tadalafil for 10 months now, due to Benign Prostate Hyperplasma. These are my results: 1. My BPH symptoms have improved significantly 2. I have much less cold feet and hands 3. I get strong boners when sexually aroused 4. My gym pumps are crazy 5. My muscle mass has accelerated 6. My mood has improved, I am happier and more confident I’m 51, and couldn’t be happier with Tadalafil. While certainly no wonder drug it helps with blood circulation in general and I feel it has life-enhancing qualities.

@@JW0143 Gym pumps are so much better on Tadalafil. Many in the TRT community take this at 5mg along side TRT. It lowers blood pressure, increases recovery and makes the pump much better. Its banned in the olympics because of this.

I don’t know, two kilo gains in lean mass in less than 3 months is pretty impressive to me- assuming that is skeletal muscle and not other forms of lean mass. And all this just from taking a small pill once a day with no reference to change in physical activity. Sounds like you could market this product as a muscle mass gainer if it were not a drug.

@@Physionic Initial studies (though not RCTs) in these areas are intriguing. For example, "The research team found men taking PDE-5i drugs were 13% less likely to suffer a cardiac event, this was linked to a reduction in coronary revascularisation, heart failure, and unstable angina. Overall mortality was reduced by 25% in men exposed to PDE-5i and the team recorded a 39% lower risk of dying due to cardiovascular-related causes." Apart from a lower mortality rate, the risk of being admitted to hospital for heart failure was also 40 per cent lower in the treatment group. The effects were only seen for patients who received the most common type of impotence drug, namely phosphodiesterase-5-inhibitors (PDE-5-inhibitors) such as Viagra, Cialis or Levitra, indicating that it may be specifically these drugs that contribute to the reduced mortality. Yes. There is a recent study ( named above ) found Cialis reduces alzheimer rates. It makes perfect sense and increased blood flow would assist in prevention. I'm also convinced it would help to reduce heart attacks. That was it's original purpose. Participants in the initial heart studies viagra got boners as a side effect and we'll, you know the rest.

Tadalafil has been a game-changer for me. I'm now 14 months into curative treatment for Stage 3 prostate cancer, 12 months of that on daily Tadalafil. It's been instumental in what I, and any clinicians I speak to, consider to be an excellent outcome, in terms of EF. This is with NO TT ! I've had ADT, which I'm just coming off now. I had to get the Tadalafil privately, as the UK health service won't offer it for this purpose. I also took 80 sessions of HBOT which so far seems to have healed the radiotherapy damage. I've not posted about this in public forum before, but I feel I really should be sharing what I've learned because it may help many men, and TBH I'm proud of myself. I look forward to watching this video, good work !

Andy, are you taking 5 mg tadalafil daily or a higher dose?
@AndyMcClements
@AndyMcClements Жыл бұрын
@@christophdenner8878 Hi Christoph, the standard dose when taking it daily is 5mg. I was on ADT for prostate cancer, in this modality, the Tadalafil serves to maintain a background level of blood supply, which has a protective effect against the tissue atrophy that's a risk when on ADT. Plus, it has allowed a good degree of EF, when desired, which I think would be unlikely without it. The physical and emotional benefits of this have been massive. The individual response to Tadalafil will probably vary, so maybe a higher daily dose may be needed in some. I think the main risk is of hypotension, which clinicians are keen to avoid because it can cause blackouts etc and folks falling over and hitting their heads. Otherwise it has low toxicity, AFAIK. Personally, after my radical treatment I was on 5mg Tadalafil, plus 2x the normal dose of Tamsulosin, which is also hypotensive. I could tolerate this OK, but I did notice if standing up from squatting etc. I am quite fit, which helps.

@@AndyMcClements Thank you Andy! I was prescribed tadalafil for prostatic hyperplasia as well as erectile dysfunction, however, the latter is partially caused by a massive burnout that I'm currently in. I'm taking 5 mg per day and it's planned to take it for a while. Hypotension is not a problem in my case, because I'm rather prone to slight hypertension, so that tadalafil's hypotensive effects are even a further benefit. Wishing you all the best on your recovery journey!

And now the seconds one, just a sugestion ... would your do one of your amazing analisys, about modafinil? Not only focusing on the classic effects but also on aspects such as dyslipidemia, effects on the immune system, etc. ... Once again Thank you.

Yes, NO seems to have an affect in regards to insulin and possibly insulin sensitivity. I'll have to see if I can cover modafinil, because it's going to depend on how well this topic does - if it flops (view wise), then it's difficult for me to spend another 3 weeks analyzing literature on another drug when I know the result will likely be the same. I am concerned that estrogen is dropping in some of these studies. Estrogen controls bone loss, so you might expect that the men taking this drug for extended periods of time, if estrogen stays lower, would accelerate any trend towards osteopenia / osteoporosis. Is there any long term study of daily Tadalafil? You might want to look for one that tracks bone mass.

Nick there's a point perhaps overlooked here. Total testosterone is not a good marker. Free testosterone is the thing that has an effect on male physiology. You get my point, a guy can have high test results and wander round like a Cockerell in season but it's the free test that is the secret sauce. That's where the money is.

I've done my part of the research and found it not to be harmful if drinking 1-2 cans a day (250-500ml). The sugar and caffeine content are usually lower than a starbuck coffee. The main thing I'd love to know about them is if they can cause heart attacks when taken 500ml a day for longer periods of time. And what is it exactly in them that makes it unhealthy for the heart. Thanks a lot! :)

Levon has the right idea. For us to get a complete picture, we should look at each ingredient (and my analyses take 1-4 weeks each, so...), BUT if there are studies on energy drinks, as a whole (and we ignore some of the little difference between them), we would still be able to get an idea on their health effects, as a whole. That said, my opinion is that in the context of an overall healthy diet, having an energy drink isn't going to do any harm in the grand scheme of things. As with anything, if it gets excessive, it can be problematic.
