Yamamuro was one of the most loved animators in the Dragon Ball franchise, due to how dynamic his storyboards and fight coreograhy was and due to his corrections, being one of the most recognizable Animation Directors under Shindo Productions.
He was the Co-Character Designer of the Buu Arc and went on character designing most of Dragon Ball's movies.
When One Piece started, he was hired as an Animation Director from episode 25 to 65, in most of his episodes, he would be the top KA, almost solo animating them entirely.
Yamamuro's designs would develop a lot from the 80's, almost making him a shadow of his old era that lead to a lot of criticism from Sakuga fans around the world.
He's still the Designer and Storyboarder of every episode of Dragon Ball Super Heroes and he still his the designer under lots of Promo Arts and Games.

Unexpected right? It's so strange that despite having worked so hard on early One Piece, Yamamuro's work is unknown to anyone. This time, there's some credit to give to different sources: SakugaBooru (like in every video) ANN (Info in the descritpion) Animator's Corner (Provided me the Staff List) DBAnimators (99% of Dragon Ball clips) Myself (I've personally taken the One Piece clips myself apart for three of 'em) I'd also like to announce that a 20+ or so minutes video is in the way! Don't expect it this week, nor the next one, and probably not this month at all but it'll come and it'll probably be my best work. Hope you enjoy this video! Edit: My “OP Best Of Sakuga MAD” was not the video I was talking about here, it’ll probably never be released.

@Gustavo Ishikawa Idalgo Well, I still think he is a good animator even now he just, doesn't do basically anything apart from storyboarding and designing which I find both pretty "eh". But it's debatable I guess

The editor you use cuts several frames from the scenes, which makes the animations look less fluid. You should fix that

@Studio Spider it’s not yamamuro’s fault. it’s toei animation’s fault. Toei was ruining dbs and one piece at the same time with their old fashioned non stop episodes. forget one piece it can’t be seasonal. They should’ve made dbs season so they can look good as dbz battle of gods and resurrection of f.
