Same here! In fact that freeze frame shot of him at the end isn’t his first freeze frame at the end of one of his films. They do the same thing in his other movie. Planes, Trains and Automobiles has the same thing at the end. Real tear jerker! John Candy is no doubt an absolute legend!

Lots of people still say planes, trains, and automobiles is more better than this one. I don't agree, Uncle Buck was more sensational.
@Steveman273 жыл бұрын
Uncle Buck was actually an awful person if you think about it. He told a drunk clown to go get back into his car and leave off even though he knew the drunk clown was already drunk, which would have been a major hazard to the drunk clown and anyone else on the road, and then he also kidnapped and tied up a teenage boy and abandoned out in the middle of nowhere. Uncle Buck was psychotic, and was lucky he didn't get in any trouble for the shit he pulled.

No. I bought the VHS in the 90's from a video store that was going out of business. No extras are on it. Saw an interview on YT with John's daughter that said Uncle Buck was her dad's persona in real life.

It's funny because Buck is supposed to be poor but there's many scenes where you can almost make out it looks like he's wearing a $30,000 Rolex. Like when he's trying to yank the washing machine open.
