I wish that you serviced Champion Homes in NJ. Bought a starter home just before the pandemic. The first 2 Summers the ac worked beautifully. Now it works so-so. I am really praying to not have an expensive bill. This video was helpful.

The company I worked for here in Midland Michigan, we did about 98% service work. We subcontracted through our local utility company. This put us into all kinds of situations like you talk about. It's really nice to see you take the time to explain just what you're doing as you go along. There were so many times that I could tell that the guy before me was mainly install tech or a service tech. So much of the information you cover gets overlooked and the customer ultimately pays for the techs lack of experience and or knowledge of the systems they are working with. Great job! I love watching!

Hey. If I was to install a new indoor coil. I would put it below the furnace. It will work better that way. Plus if you have drain issues it won’t leak on to the furnace.

What filter fits Mortex model # 98-8W7W-0P It's a down flow and uncased A-coil. I just need to know the A-Coil W x H to get filters to fit on the A-Coil.

Tadd your cool. I’m getting water running into my down flo condensation it is 2050 sq ft. Dbl wide 5ton. With A coil down flow does it need a p trap for condensation?

A 25lb jug of R-22 in Vegas is $1300 right now from the supply houses . Last year I did only 410a coil with matching condenser change outs . It’s too expensive for customers just to replace parts in any R-22 units . Also you have to consider that the average unit is at least 15 years old .

What do you think of the Rheem air handlers being installed in mobile homes? The coils usually can be flipped around but I see that the hole of the supply doesn’t usually match with the hole that was made for the original system.

Taddy so 422-b is a good refrigerant for topping off or did you have to remove r22

If the inside coil is leaking, and you add more refrigerant, it will just leak out again? I have this system. It's just as rusty, and exactly the same condensation with occasional freeze up. Can you do a video replacing the interior coil?

R-22 and R-422B should not be mixed. Recover the R-22, evacuate and change with 422B

It is good Quality lines made thicker especially for AC they don't wear out This is a different story about 5/8 gas line copper and it is possibley thiner than AC lines but I buried it used it for 20 years for propane bought a new trailer and parked in the front yard it used natural gas I dug it up and used it on the new trailer for 33 years and are still using it with no leaks ever that's 53 years and counting I know it's much less pressure than AC but unless you have viberation I believe it will continue to work
