You get him! I love seeing your reaction, even when it is different from my own. I completely agree with your opinions on this one. I am so curious what a non "commercial" album will sound like from him. Can't wait to hear his growth! Thanks for always supporting Taemin and giving us honesty.

This album is the most real and free I've heard Taemin, and I'm here for it.

I always am in awe of the mastery of his body while dancing and moving // I imagine that he probably has the whole choreo mapped out in his head the minute he listens to a song. His vocals just keep getting better and better. Thanks, as always, for the Taemin appreciation.

Yup, he said this is his last commercial album, I can't wait what he's gonna do next, hohohoho~~~~but let's enjoy "Eternal" first!!!

Beyonce's former dance captain and dancers from the Renaissance tour + Kany will be performing Horizon with Taemin during that single's promotions. I wonder if they will tour with him on tour too?

Thank you for the reaction! You always approach these so thoughtfully. This wasn't my favorite Cb, but I'm excited to see how he builds his own musical identity. He's always been an iterative artist--I think his moments of brilliance are a product of long experimentation and effort. Here, i think we're seeing the vocal growth from Guilty and hiphop sense from Rizzness and Hard. I think once he fully digests this new sound and Taeminifies it, we're in for some incredible music

Thanks for your reaction to Taemin. You can watch the performance of the song "sexy in the air" at the studio choom. I love it!🥰

It's interesting how one's own history really affects how one hears a song. Having been an adult in the 80s, I spent WAY too much time hearing the Theme Song to Flashdance (it played everywhere - I didn't even own it), and so Horizon gives me just a bit of musical PTSD. I'm getting over it though, and appreciating it for itself. I'm definitely loving the vocal mixing in this album though. I'm one of those people who always wants the voice to pop more, and his voice sounds great here, especially on "Sexy in the Air."

Definitivamente tienes que ver las presentaciones que ha hecho Taemin en programas de Sexy in the air y Horizon, sobre todo porque se ha rodeado de grandes bailarines. Una delicia para los que nos gusta el baile

I remember when Taemin dropped Artistic Groove in 2019. I think that was a song he had more of a hand in and I loved how Taemin has that power. This album was mid for me the 1st time I heard. I don't think I have ever said that about Taemin before. But it's probably cause of Taemin and rapping ... but he bae so I'm going to listen to the album anyways. The Unknown Sea is very traditional Kpop, but specifically, Taemin and I love that song, makes you feel something. I feel the same about Sexy In The Air, the video is bringing the whole song. (I did add it to my workout playlist. It's better on the 3rd go round) I like Horizon, but that just means Key and Taemin could have BEEN dropped a techno bop. Horizon also immediately made me think of this guy named Miyavi. And Gackt. Personally I listened to the whole album a lot on Spotify and I'm curious to see where Taemin will take himself from here.

Taemin and Jimin are both what I consider "water dancers". Think, of a stream/river or water over rocks. It flows, stops, but then keeps flowing. (worlds worst short description) This is how they MOVE. It's not how they dance, it's how they LIVE. And I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE that Taemin has FINALLY come into his 'own'.

Do you react to Horizon's performance? If so, let me just mention that Madonna and Beyonce's dancers performed with him, and in SITA, Kasper, Bada Lee and Japanese dancers apart from those you probably already know

‘Me I’m young too!’ dusted me!😂 He’s gonna be eating people up in those TikTok dance collabs. And you know Taemin likes to drag everyone and their mom out to dance with him when he has a comeback. He hasn’t done that many so far but Hoshi is the only one that I’ve seen who’s been able to keep up with the footwork WELL. This choreo is INSANE! It’s good he must make the youngins sweat a little. The song isn’t my fave…but I’m watching all the performance videos that I can get my hands on

While this wasn’t my personal favorite comeback (just not necessarily something I see myself listening to), I can 100% feel the shift in creative freedom. I cannot wait to see how he grows as a soloist now that he has more control over his music. Taemin’s comeback has me even more hyped for Onew’s comeback too! Shawol’s are eating this year

honestly not a fan of this album…. it just doesn’t really feel like him. it’s not very authentic sounding idk. I also hope whoever writes his songs stops with the cringy english… first the rizzness, then G.O.A.T, and sexy in the air 😫

i loved everything about sexy in the air….apart from that specific line of the chorus😭 it just killed it for me

I sadly grew out of Taemin's music and style. I've been a Taemint for suuuch a long time, but the sinning catholic sprinkled with some innocence is kind of getting old, but it's his thing and I still love him as a singer. But don't get me wrong...I'll still follow his steps, because Taemin has always been a surprise bag.

I actually like his consistency with it. It makes it feel a lot more authentic to him as a person and an artist, that it's an ongoing artistic theme that grounds his work. I hope with less commercial pressure he'll be able to apply this more diversely
@cuixue-rs3mi2 ай бұрын
I feel like the last part of "Sita" is totally unnecessary. I skip it because the chorus, with its hip hop sounds and moves, is the real highlight. The final section just feels like it brings the energy down and seems like filler.
