Who are you and what did you do to Taff? Hit with a bomb, then landed without bouncing? Can't be!

Yeah! He was as surprised as you but it was a perfect landing in a plane he isn´t familiar with.

My father and uncle were crossing the Remagen bridge when three Stukas in the early morning light attacked the bridge, in a section of 5-6 jeeps.(311th Inf Reg/78th Inf Div), 10 Mar 44......All the Stukas were shot down, and the AA even shot at the bailed out pilots. //In the 1980s, in NYC the 78th ID had a reunion, and one of the Stuka Pilots showed up and told his side of the story!

Love the 190. Not the "i'll hold your hand" easyest plane to fly. But when you get the sights on another plane, the fire power is amazing.

Taff I think you need to move your standard view further back to have better visibility --> move backwards in your chair so that the pilot head moves back and then press F10 to save it as the new quick-view-default!

2:05 - DAMN that German pilot flying black 10! He must be one of the top experten in the entire Luftwaffe. It seems as if he's everywhere at once! 3:55 - And so goes the German war effort! "No! Our planes were brought down by enemy fire. I swear!" 5:50 - "So they may knock out the bridge before we get there." Yeah, if their seeing eye dogs weren't flying for them, perhaps. 6:34 - "Formation flying takes so much concentration." (see 3:55, above) 🤪 🤪 🤪 🤪 🤪 8:54 - If you wanted to get THAT close, you should've just LANDED on the damned thing. 😁

Taff, if you're going to choose the Fw-190 for your new career, a better variant would be the D-9 Dora, which is significantly quicker than the 190A, handles and climbs better than the 190A and was competitive against the P-51 Mustang and Spitfire XIV. Have you seen any of Sheriff's Sim Shack's instructional videos on the various warbirds. He has certainly done some on the 190s which you may well find very helpful to you.

Really loved the intro sequence for this one, and the cuts to the Stuka and Lightning squadrons! Not sure how much work it took putting all of that in, but I think it paid off. Almost seemed like watching a documentary/movie. Keep up the good work, cheers! 👍🛩
@foreverpinkf.76034 жыл бұрын
Well, the Stuka flight maneuver was quite a masterpiece; trying to hug the plane with a 500 kg bomb under the belly. Good hit on the bridge. You are flying an A-8, not a D-9, so don´t try to chase Tempest´s and Lightning´s. Nevertheless, good shots on the Tempest. But, all in all, you did survive and that´s what counts.

Excellent video as usual,FW190 good choice. Trying not to be picky but can you do the video without the music,it would be nice just hear the aircraft etc at the start or you introducing the background to each plane,but apart from that top notch

Should always raise flaps as soon as you touch down , slows you , never brake !!
@odonovan4 жыл бұрын
@Droodog127 - Not so. Raising the flaps actually lessens the drag and keeps you from slowing down. However, it also lessens the lift and keeps you from lifting your wheels back off, then bouncing down and nosing over. The brakes are fine as long as you wait a bit before you start using them and use only light taps.
@Droodog1274 жыл бұрын
@@odonovan I meant at least in a Cherokee warrior I was told to raise flaps and coast never braking as not to bounce or tip
